See, there's a difference between you and others. You're actually cool, using it to your advantage. Others, however, don't. Most of them who call themselves "otaku", or at least the ones I know, are generally the type to spout Japanese words at random, to sing very badly in Japanese, and to argue that whatever anime/OTP they like is the best and you can never argue against it. No matter what logic someone may tell them, they won't accept it and continue to argue against you.
