UGH!! Do you have to know how to do a french braid for this hair style? Cause it looks really pretty and I want to do it with my micros, but I can't get it right. Can you so a super slow version, like a step by step? Not literally, but I'm really slow when it comes to learning to do my own hair. I've always just had someone do it for me, but now I'm on my own and I'd really like to be able to style my own hair. Thanks!!!

nothing has changed. I didn't "jumpstart" my growth, my hair just continued to grow normally and I retained the length through gentle styling.

How long would you leave your cornrows in while you were growing your hair long? I am thinking of putting cornrows and weaves in my hair while I get it to reach mid-back to waist length. Right now, my hair is just slightly pass my shoulders. I am concerned about using rubber bands to keep the hair together on the ends. I do have a relaxer. I did natural but it was too much maintenance for me. If I did cornrows, how could I keep the ends together without rubber bands?
