Rare is an English developer. "RARE Japan" does not and has never existed.
Anyway, if I had to guess, a "stickerbrush" is the thorny plant that appears in Bramble Blast. Sticker being another word for thorn, and brush being a term for wild vegetation.
It's a stretch but it's the best I can come up with.
Holy CRAP! (5 for you and 5 for me :D )
its like spikey vines on DKC2. the vines make somewhat of a maze in the game and you have to go through the maze by shooting yourself out of one barrel to the next without hitting the vine. so yeah, imagine a really thick rose stem with 10x the amount of thorns. thats basically it.
my favorite music from this game was always the hardest levels. this one and enchanted woods. classic. i still listen to those songs and im 20 years old now
i listen to a lot of game songs. i have a specific mp3 for game music. my friends are always like "wtf is this shit" and i always say dont knock it til you try it. im 18 and i got music from games before my time to music from current games but i prefer the older game music. if its a current game, its most likely a final fantasy or a fighting game.but even the final fantasy games and fighting games had better music back then like tekken, virtua fighter 2, FF7 and all kinds of shit
Lmao I have a few friends who bash me for having VG music on my MP3 player at times. It's all in good fun though. They played the games too, but they're making a joke out of how it's like I "never grew out of it." I bet they secretly listen to them too despite them being from forever and a day ago.
Game music isnt bad. the only problem is sometimes they are maybe a minute and some change ling because the rest of the song is just a repeat, and sometimes the song is long and its nothing but repeats. especially sonic music. i have a few 9 minute songs playing the same constant beat.
when i added it i wasnt thinking of the outcome at the time. i love game music but the fact that its so short most of the time only bothers me when i want to play it on guitar. you want to do more with it but its so short and repetitive that theres nothing else you can really do with it except add your own solo but that beats the purpose of a VG cover. but, although short and repetitive, its one of the best music genres if its considered a genre
it doesnt make sense to cover a song from a video game only if you don't want to but it make every sense if you want to, even if its just a short melody. rob zombie and the other bands that made music for games are usually the current darker aventure games like ramstein for devil may cry. and true a lot of the older games didnt make soundtracks but a lot of people don't know that MOST (not all) of the older playstation one games were soundtracks themselves. just stick one in a cd player
Very nice!!

"Stickerbrush" is the result of bad translation from those wonderful people at RARE Japan.

Ha I wouldn't want to put up with a 9 minute loop, but the game music brings a sense of nostalgia, which i can always appreciate.
