Damn. Buakaw is a beast. I'd love to see high-level strikers like this in MMA. The stand up game has gotten noticeably better in MMA, but few (if ANY) are anywhere near the striking level of Buakaw. Personally, I've always preferred the striking arts and I'd rather watch a Buakaw Thai fight over an MMA bout any day. Seeing Buakaw in action is a real treat. Devastating power! AWESOME. Thanks for sharing. :)

@MurderTechnique The rules favor ground fighting so striking takes a back seat when new fighters are training. The only time you see top level strikers in mma is when they switch to mma from other disciplines. I wish they would allow kicking a downed opponent. It actually makes a shoot risky, which it should be.

@Folkedahl AGREED! Remember the VERY 1ST UFC fight? Kickboxer roundhouse kicked Sumo guy's teeth OUT OF HIS FACE after Sumo charged & slipped. MMA portrays groundfighting as the superior style 'cause strikers can't entirely do their thing in the cage. 12-6 elbows, kicking downed opponents, head butting, ETC is all illegal! Neck cranks & various life threatening submissions aren't illegal though! Grapplers have unfair advantage due to BS striking rules/restrictions. Buakaw is excellent...& scary!
