i got it by getting the active camo before going in assault on the control room valley. when you pass them with active camo on they freeze in place activate them by going behind them
I don't know why I have to say this everytime, but since that seems to be the case: this was done on Halo for the Xbox without any modifications. It was a glitch in the game. I have better things to do than try to trick you into thinking that there's a non-existent glitch in the game.
one time I got a grunt frozen and I put all my needler ammo and stickies and they didn't explode until he unfroze by that time I was nearing the end of the level and the grunt exploded and the ship disappeared!
The level is "Assult in the control center". Also I know how to do this. See my video. PS: is this on PC? Cuz I have on Xbox. So yeah watch my vidoeo please. You will learn how to do this.

Well, you'd lose that bet. It was some kind of glitch that happened when I hit a checkpoint and had that group of grunts following me. If I knew exactly what I did to make it happen, I'd tell you, but I honestly don't know.

awesome glitch fun to blow them up stick plasma grenades fire needler rounds in them. Then in the end activate them by standing behind them

looks to me ur using a dev trainer for halo ce or pc to stop time and unstop it i do it sometimes
