So i just got my g track and i used photobooth on mac to record videos. The problem is that when I play back the video, only the left channel works but not the right, is this a software problem, and if it is, how can i fix this? I've tried it on imovie and photobooth, no luck so far, still only the left channel working. any help from anyone is greatly appreciated

Hey great review!!! I have a question though. I'm stuck between Blue Yeti and Samson G-track microphone. The blue looks very nice and solidly built, however I'm really wanting to be able to record my electric violin into my computer and mix it with music. My main purpose for the mic, is using it mostly on skype and perhaps recording instruments and vocals a bit. Please help... Sincerely Will
Thank you. I am having problems recording with my new Samson G-Track Mic on my Macbook Pro. I've noticed that my voice only appears on the left side speaker. It's not recording in stereo. Why is that? Would have I done wrong?
@3learn You could cope without it, but it would defiantly help with canceling out any bumps when recording. Personally i havnt experienced any problems with mine on the normal stand as of yet. Hope this helps, thanks for your comment

Would I be able to hear the played music or any other sound coming from a PC and plus my voice while recording, in headphones at the same time?

Hey can you record yourself singing while plugging your electric guitar into the mic?
or can you only do one at a time?

@haneadino33 Heard something about putting the mic to "stereo" and the software to mono.

Thinking about this and the Blue Yeti. Mainly for voice overs. Do you recommend the shockmount?
