As a CVS cashier one thing I can tell you is that the coupons that you get out of the magic coupon machine work on almost anything. It's not very sophisticated. If you get a friendly cashier you can get him to scan most of those coupons and they will work. It's cheating the system, so go for it.
Who cares who funds the Extra Bucks? In this economy take what you can get. CVS could just take the money from the vendors and pocket it. We care about our customers (at least I do....................and ALL of my co-workers).

When you use coupons, do/can you usually use 2 or more of the same coupons for each item? (for example, can you buy 2 Suave shampoo using 2 Suave coupons at the same purchase?) How about, can you use manufacturer's coupon with the store coupon for the same item? Thank you.

The extra buck offers are funded by the company's such as Proctor and Gamble for the CoverGirl stuff.... except for your quarterly "reward" bucks.
