  • tis guy is a stooge

  • I am a Vietnam Vet....that war was a total fucking lie.......now we have the Middle east....a TOTAL fucking Lie....I am glad I am 64 and my life is almost over.

  • I mean the ppl of the world have been through soo much... generations of ...

and ppl who say its about the survival of the fittest, i like the frase: open minds will descend upon you. we cant even grasp with our minds how powerfull we realy are... but, the power is not ours to take someone esles'... it leads to the destruction, and so ppl must wake up,... from being dummed down, and not having anytime... to feel again... everybodys different but still we are so alike....

  • its what the word says it is... abillity to response ... in a responsable way... its like when u're with someone... doesnt matter anyone... and how do you responce... all the time... it matters what or who are u acting or acting out...not just to the other person .... at the same time that is also a mirror... anyway, we have to start with ourself, to know ourself .. and understand the world... to know how to adjust to it to make it better...

  • It's like,, we all have major problems, mostly with ourselfs and like that, with our environment... but if we would have true leaders, we would've been led a better way. Becouse this is the opposit, greed and alike rull our lifes.. ppl have a lot of problems with them self even more... and are getting dummed... they allready are demoralized... And I also feel that we have to start with ourselfs to see and understand basically, well.. who we are and love, what our responseabbilitys are...

  • how come everything is black and white? O_O

    ZEITGEIST/VENUS PROJECT FTW!!1!!!11!1!

  • everyones personal freedom ties with ones inner responsability and is true love. as long as we dont know ourselves and accept and love, we fall under deciet. we dont really understand personal freedom u see, cause it involves inner responsability and they are teachin u that s good, its all ok, do wrong stuff, ud think we'd welcome inner growth and knowledge, but no... we welcome decay..u cant change the laws of love and creation...

  • and also i belive it is not only that, its the whole spirit and knowledge thing... as we doubt in our love, and thus in creation and us not to say CREATION OF THE UNIVERSE, by only beeing in negative and seeing it that way, trapped in the deciet, and doing it that way, we try to run over the true reality of it all and the natural laws...

  • First of all i have to say that what i said in the first commentary was what i felt and truely belived and still do...somethimes u know what u feel better, u know cause u just know. and i didnt even know that u guys like my comment so much <3 i never check my youtube profile, and in the mail i didnt even go check the re-comments till now... so..

  • Everyone who thinks they know what's going on in the world, or what REALLY matters, needs to shut their fucking mouths and listen to Peter.

  • Brilliant dissertation by Peter Joseph one hundred percent logically correct, accurate and well said.

  • @ewupawly What makes you say that? Because he's speaking in a reasonable tone and using the best words from his knowledge to convey his opinion? If that makes him a snob then that makes almost everyone in the world a snob. We can all only use the words we know to convey our opinions, it is impossible for us to use words that we don't know. I don't know the Mandarin word for fish so I could never use it, you see what I mean?

  • This dude is tuned-in.

  • PETER YOU ARE HERO

  • @TheKrackfox But consider the idea that the only reason people want specific things is because we have created an artificially diverse marketplace. That is to say why do we need 200 different varieties of cell phones, automobiles, computers, home appliances, et cetera. Instead of refining these tools it seems our society is geared to providing different versions of the same thing. So is there anything genuine about our desire to want "things", or is that desire a mirage created by our society?

  • Many people are starting to awake to the true reality of this world.

Peter is helping you to open your eyes. I would suggest to anyone to watch Zeitgeist and addendum.

  • poor girl he barely let her speak...

  • Good luck with your concepts Peter Joseph.

PS: don't overestimate human beings. The system is not wrong...the system is real, and reality is cruel.

  • Fantastic Posts...very enlightening; thank you for posting them!!

  • We came to this earth to learn Love and be Loved, Love is the only power, send love to any evil

  • This is the very reason why America was created to began with. When a small group of people have such a high concentration of wealth and power they will not stop until they have complete control.

  • this is gonna be way better than north korea

  • FUCK THE SYSTEM

  • when i saw zeitgeist, specially addendum, i was so happy to see that someone knows how i feel and everything he talks about is true, wake up ppl.

our politics should be freedom and respect and our religion love.

  • @L89Fucy wake up mate...this is the 'world'. It will always be the survival of the fittest, that's what people ought to understand. A few will try to break the chain (like this guy), but we're humans above all. Rational but animals.

  • @Ojokernegro mammals...mammals are social creature's! creature 's who nurture and support there kin!..no offence to you at all but , try to listen instead of just hearing, there's a real point here weather or not this particular theory ever works it's the idea that's real, not the matrix that we've allowed ourselves to perpetuate in such a continuous manner

  • @LeonPhythian69 , but the reality that we are the custodians of our dreams ,our futures and our desire's...non of which ever have to come from fear ,hatred or self gain...the human condition is a lie, a sickness grown from the environment of one's circumstance! it's to continue on that particular flow off existence that in it's self is a destructive process, true change come's from this realisation, and it would seem that we as a collective people are coming closer to this understanding, Peace

  • @L89Fucy Spread the word!

  • @L89Fucy this peter joseph is a intellect, love intellects. corporations do not care about people, just profits.

  • Even if you think that, she does provide a venue for him to speak, and for you to watch this video

  • @Vote4Libertarians I suggest you do a little research before you assume something. That is not what he is portraying whatsoever.

  • @Vote4Libertarians Would you consider Alex Jones to be the same?

  • you show yourself to be boxed in by your ideolgy

you need to raise your thinking

the system which allows 9/11 to happen needs to be discarded

america needed energy so badly it was prepared to kill its own citizens to start an energy grab.

but we can have a better reality

  • When I think of 9/11, as a student of history, I cannot help but think of Hitler and the Reichstag and how he blamed it on "communist terrorists". It's all history repeating itself.

  • @opurplehazeo bahhhhh maybe... But Peter said itself he doesn't want to be the leader of this ''movement'' I mean beign the leading leader. He's only one of the most that stand up in history to say:

    This world needs a Zeitgeist!

But I don't think that he would free the ppl to enslave them.

  • @Vote4Libertarians

Well you probebly are more right than wrong talking about economizing resorses, but than the only solution, despite how tereble it sounds, is to stop breadign or REALY slowing the levels of reproduction of humanity on earth, because the more ppl there are the higher the lvl of consuming becomes.

  • EXCUSE ME but if we do succumb to a New World Order/One World Gov't, who will be in charge? Obviously the wealthy! They will be biased in order to serve their own wants. So by Peter Joseph suggesting that accepting a New World Order in order to maximize what the Earth has to offer he's contradicting his movie! We can't succumb to a New World Order because humanity is incapable of thinking on its own. Good in theory, but not in practice! First society has to change, then a world order.

  • you have obviously no idea, these people dont suggets a ORDER with some as a leader in a sence government, religion, politics, cause tthere wil be no necessity. it is very complicated and controversial but in generall science, technology of all kinds od human way will lead us

  • his vocabulary is exquisite...

  • peter joseph is cool

  • La Societé du Spectacle, Guy Debord.

  • Heh.. I always compare our "freedom" as far as our money takes us as to, say, charging our mobiles phones or MP3s. I mean, when our phone's are fully charged we go out, and it takes a few days for the batteries to go so we forget that it's not forever. Likewise, if you're in a good financial situation you can sit comfortably, but if you're not careful it can all go one day.

  • well said, mate!

  • 'Truth' is not enough.

Yes, there is a lot of 'truth' here - showing how programmed we are currently.

This truth is ONLY PART of the real Awakening, Healing - we are Quantum Conciousness Beings - we must include emotional, spiritual, healing, cleanup of the 'OLD' us - otherwise this fill fail as well.

  • hahaha you call this an interview??

its a monologue, anyone can see that.

  • I respect his views and filosofic thaughts, it is as if my thaughts where presented over here..I hope that they reach the people of the world 2 do good

  • ok: he said 75% of MOST production is waste. what he was most likely trying to communicate is MOST production involves a lot of waste. now, question is do you disagree? can you provide any information that states otherwise? it sounds like you may have been looking for holes in what the man was saying and while doing so missed the whole point.

  • What this man speaks is unfiltered truth; basic truth that anybody can come to if they are intelligent enough.

  • I think before U put a stamp on the guy, know his work first and then comment. Peace out!

  • he does a bi weekly radio show on blogtalkradio(google it) in which he does nothing but answer question after question about the venus project and zeitgeist movement for hours and hours.check it out when you can..no question goes unanswered

  • I think is more then 75%, he was nice about it. Look around U @ the moment you will read this, and see how many things U will just throw away soon including your very PC or Mac. Is not that a waste? We have already the technology but we just bring it in waves, and that, ALL thank to the sweet curency! Have a nice day U and your family!

  • People do realize that resources are important, very few just happen to live in the USA. Working at a bank, you should see how Chinese and other nations are selling their dollars for physical iron ore and other resources b/c they don't believe in our economy anymore b/c this resource has been all used up.

  • The man has a great goal and absolutely correct in that humanity needs a global change in consciousness. If there is no change in consciousness towards the good and the positive then humanity, our species, will not survive.

  • yes, before 2012, we must reach a point of 100% positive consciousness!

    DO IT!

    FOR THE PEOPLE!

  • you must be really, really old to KNOW this. as far as i'm concerned, considering your age, i believe that you sir are god, i bow to you. whatever floats your boat god

  • all that Christ is and has

    him gave it to us.

You want to be like me, my brother divine of Christ?

  • Alleluia!

  • when something becomes scarce, it becomes more valuable.

It doesn't necessarily have to be scarce, a supplier simply has to state that it is "scarce" and they sell "Just enough" to keep up with demand -- take oil prices (besides the 1970 shortages)

  • I don't get what he means by scarcity being "rewarded", considering if you were gonna sell 5 tomatos, according to him you would make more money off of selling 1 tomato? He never really explained that.

  • thats simple. it has do with supply and demand. if supply is greater than demand then the price goes down. but if demand outstrips supply then the price rises. look at it this way. gold is a vaulable metal only because of its scarcity. it has very little use. other metals are stronger, lighter, better electical conducters etc etc. yet it is worth more than them because it is rarer. if gold was as comon as iron then it would be nearly worthless

  • I understand the concept of scarcity perfectly well, but he explains it in a way that doesn't make sense. It's hard to explain what I mean. It would be easier with a chart or something... So if something is scarse and more expensive, can't you also make large profits off of sellings lots of those things, while still making individually sell of them? If you sold 5 pieces of gold, wouldn't you get the profit of 5 pieces of gold, compared to the profits of just selling one?

  • @camreeno360 i think your confussion comes about in thinking in too small of a scale. 5 pieces of gold is still scarce even when in comparison to 1 piece. what would happen if you had 50 000 pieces of gold and 1million people also had

50000 pieces of gold they wished to sell. the value of it would plummet. but if you ad 50000 pices but all there was in the world was 100000 pieces. then you could sell all you had at a major profit. for though you may be selling alot. it is still scarce

  • Cannabis is the answer to all of the worlds problems. It can cure cancer, make all goods and services free, and NOT pollute the biosphere.

  • no procies, no price tax, tax, money,,, why would you need a money when I had whatever you want because there is no scarcity !

  • then who would make movies and games? If you have everything you need why would you spend your time making a secondary need...

it will cause global boredom :p

but I'd rather have that than a 10% elite with way to much stuff.

It would be so awesome if everyone was freed from labour and get a 300 credit a month allowance or something :p

  • @wafelijzerstekker Movies, Games etc can be made by people that ENJOY doing that, just like they do now. The only difference would be that there is no money involved, therefore no one would feel the stress of money.

  • this guy is going to be shot. thats not a good thing. leaders dont like people that speak up

  • No taxation with representation. WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT? im going to get my but bite for saying that+

  • I am not religious nor conned and misled by mass media propaganda, though i am still in that system. we are bombarded by doom and gloom and fear to stay indoors and shut up, pay our taxes and work for i system i neither understand nor condone. I for one want out. i have boycotted all major institutions and consider myself lucky to have been awakened from my pre-designed funfair of mental enslavement.

  • Where does he say people would be forced into re-education?

I think you watch too much Alex Jones videos

  • Good on you Peter - love your work.

  • A barter-style system is preferable to our corrupt money system.

In a barter system you earn points (or dollars) when you create something or perform a service. Dollars are not created out of thin air, not controlled by a 3rd person (banks) and are only used to simplify transactions -- no speculative games, interest etc.

Because you have to work to get more barter dollars (rather than gamble with them), the amount of $'s in the system grows GRADUALLY which keeps prices low.

  • Thats a good idea but establishing that system so everyone benifits will be the hard part.

  • There is a vast difference between "thinking" and "awareness". Social and political change do not happen overnight. It begins with each individual. A shift in awareness is what major religious figures throughout history have always talked about. The love of money is the root of all evil. The 1% of the world who had most of the money will do anything they can to keep it in their bank accounts - which in turn causes misery and suffering for so many. A world without money? Bring it on.

  • This guy is hardly a realist and is a utopianist, it is the end not the means, which he gives little true fore thought or explanation to, and which is what is truely important.. still intersting to listen to though.

  • actually, thats 3 things. I added one.

  • i guess im a loser right now im 24 and a college dropout but i hate working and doing stupid ass schoolwork while paying 40 grand a year in debt while my mom only makes 65 thosand a year, i also have 2 lil bros and 1 older sis. and i have trouble working like a dog pickin something up and droppin it off 50 feet away for 8-10 hours a day. so i quit a lot of jobs and cant figure out what i should do. this stuff makes a lot of sense to me.

  • most people are sheep, so i doubt it will happen at my life span.

  • well but they also said in addendum that venus is not perfect (because perfection cannot be never achieved) but gives you better solutions for life and for better world!!!

  • I AM AWAKE! I WANT IT

  • well, my personal and humble opinion is that the point of view of the project is reeeeeeeeally cool, being a lazy dumbass in my house while a robot is jerking me off is cool; but really, so utopical and romantic. those structures u talk abt are made of people deeply connected with them. How many of them should die to achieve this romantic world???? dumbfuck, anyway, I'm infiltrated in the zeitgeist movement rofl

  • It's a state of thinking, not human nature since we all don't show presence of it.

  • well still, my point is there are so many people that thnk like that, that it might as well be human nature, since you can't make over 6 billion peple have the same exact thought and agree on every single issue which is what it would take for this clowns dream to come true. Time to enter into reality, people.

  • Lefties would argue again its simply a state of thinking, and one which mercantilism and capitalism has ushered onto us, and we would have to progress as a society to move beyong materialistic wants, many people already think like this and many groups have in the past. It also goes back to the argument is a socialist society needed for the formation of a socialist state, theres lots of good reading on it. But yes, this guy is completely over the top agreed.

  • im sick of being a slave

  • then buy one

  • Yes, and that's what they promote. Leadership is a form of organization. It's the people that power it. The "grassroots".

  • Survival of the fittest and adam smith's market system are the same concept only the fight for existence that Darwin described was an appliance of the economic ideas of Smith to the natural system. Don't forget that Darwin based his ideas (which werent his) on the ideas of Malthus and Spencer who were ECONOMISTS.

Shouldnt the economic system be based on the ecologic and biologic system in which we are embed?

  • Except in the current status quo we're on track to destroying the planet. That is a force for change, an extinction of ideas (of sorts) and hopefully an evolution of new ideas for what could be considered a positive and progressive change; IE; the death of degenerative and destructive actions to replace more advanced, constructive and positive actions for humanity as a whole... or at least, what's what I'm gathering from this.

  • im actually surprised that peter hasnt talked more about the role of leaders in his films. leaders choose which way society moves, from the local party "crew" leaders like some of us are to the perceived leaders in government. society doesnt wish it to be this way. the leaders just choose to leech and destroy rather than help. and that goes from the "cool guy" in the group to obama around the top. we dont have to start from the top to try and fix things.

  • what he says is so simple, like an eighth grader could understand if he had a good vocabulary. very suitable for north americans haha

  • even if you take away money there is still going to be CORRUPTION. Lets say i grow carrots, you grow apples, and some 1 grows grapes. I find a way to grow carrots 3 times faster then u grow apples. obviously im going to benefit off the "free trade" system or enterprise. theres always going to be greediness. thats nature. there will always be a money system!

  • look at it in another way, like there wouldnt need to be a trade system at all.. there is trade system because there isnt an abundance of resources so we have to give to get. there is greediness because there is scacity

  • exactly. and most people cant even begin to comprehend it. why would there be greed if everything is available to everyone? there is literally nothing to gain. its a slow process but maybe by the end of our lifetimes we can start to see some progress towards a better future.

  • you honestly think you can get millions of people to live such a simple life like that??? havent you noticed some of the simple things in life are had for people. peter isnt realistic. He's a damn VISIONARY!!! u would half of our vocabulary would be debunked do to the fact that everyone woul be lazy cuz there would be an "abundance" of resources.

  • Do you realize how ignorant you look?

  • you're missing the point entirely, have you seen addendum?

  • an your point is~? if technoogly could advance that robots take over every 1 of the humans jobs we wouldnt need to do anythign other than what we want

  • there is no AIDS you stupid bastard....

  • you like being working puppet ?

  • it's not a human nature it's human behavior as they are supid sheeps who does not know anything else about themselves but only how to express themselves through competition and greediness.

  • R.I.P. MONEY $

  • its unsustainable... UNSUSTAINABLE! ........EXACTLY! mmmmmm

  • but peter joseph's the shit too

  • Peeps gotta check greg braden too

  • GO! GO! GO! Unite the world! Its great! but sounds kinda weird if ya know what i mean.

  • Hey Peter Joseph, can you push H.R. 1207, Ron Paul's bill to audit the Fed?

  • very clever guy. i've been looking for the horus info. i'm finding horus eyes were the sun and the moon and that set was god of the desert basically so far. i wish he'd give his sources at the end of the movie so i could check to see if it's made up or not. first fact i tried to check and already i'm not able to verify the content's accuracy.

  • Well good luck with all that. Utopian societies have been tried many times and there is always some nut case who leads it or some other nut case who commits the unthinkable and gets tossed out like refuse.

    I wish you well

  • Comment removed

  • It's not a utopian society, not in the common conception.

Look into it more and you'll realize what it truly is.

  • They specifically say in the videos and in text that it's not a utopia society. It's just a society that puts the view in a different direction. Instead of individualizing ones gains you put your efforts towards improving humanity and everyone around you. Indirectly this trickles down to you and you see the gains. He isn't "nuts" or isn't saying that it's perfect. Nothing and no society will ever be perfect.

  • Moving from one subject to another is usualy part of a convo.

  • Films were downloadable for free since day 1.

  • You can download his movies for free. Maybe he makes some money but I guarantee you he's probably putting a great deal of money into the production and getting the information out. He doesn't ask you to pay him money for anything. You think traditionally. Not everyone is trying to con everyone. He's legitimately trying to help society by improving it beyond hate, war, etc.

  • @cirus87. I don't blindly believe everything he says like a sheep person would. I do my research on topics. However I know from experience that documentaries and films can be costly to produce. I'm sure his estimates of his films include his own labor in the costs. I'm also pretty sure he was estimating when he mentioned it as he's stated it elsewhere before. Most of what I'm referring to is his addendum video versus the original zeitgeist film.

  • 13643

  • im officially a zietgiest,sign me up

  • Drone!

  • Great points on the danger of a system like this being corrupted and used wrongly; and yes this kind of system would be horrible as a forced mandate. The point of this movement is to come about as a choice by the people. No one around to enforce anything. Just people around to advance the human race in ways that money has prevented us from doing. It definitely sounds a thousand times better than the system we're in now. Why not take a shot at it?

  • I suppose there could be states that cede from the Federal Government that may attempt this zeitgeist but I would never support it as an enforced national mandate. People need to be free to choose always. I will remain outside such a paradigm.

  • Comment removed

  • Enforced?

    No one is suggesting this.

Of *course* the choice is yours, but keep this in mind:

When faced with extinction (at the hands of the current system), every other alternative is preferable.

See you in the new & improved world. ^_^

    ~Lev

  • I see this clearly for what it is purported to be and I can only offer a Strong Warning against it for the reason that it would become corrupted. When it is corrupted what would become of the you then?

  • I agree that if it catches on attempts will be made to thwart it, just like communism, socialism, capitalism; they're all based in ideologies that are subverted in their execution. Zeitgeist is NOT a political movement however.

Recommending people away from Zeitgeist is really lazy. How about instead focus on how to prevent such a movement from being subverted?

Why not be a part of the solution, rather than sit back and let others do the dirty work?
