From what I could see the protests last month were nothing more than what you've described them to be. Teenagers and younger 20 somethings without employment or direction who are upset because they've found that they aren't special at all...far from it and they're upset that they have to work to succeed in life.

They could hypothetically attempt to create the world they want the way that everyone else does, but you don't get cameras and attention if you take that route.

I do agree what you said but with one exception. Attention had to be drawn, not by protesting because it's too late for this. Riots are only going to draw negative attention so, everyone should do the same thing(which is very hard to do). Quit their jobs, stop buying food and goods and start cultivating their own food. Riots and protests are a thing of the past for USA. Free speech is done and nothing can draw attention except non-compliance.
