Good work, Calvin, When I was your age I took a class in school and I restored an old ford tractor and got an A+ for a grade, I was only 15 then. I'm 61 now, miss the good ole days of course! I'm jealous that you did this cool crawler!! Way to go!!
absolutly buitiful resto dude luve the work what in depth more did you do to loosen up the pistons because ive got a d4 with petrol and deisel with stuck motors i want to get running again i was wondering what fuel to use in both and what to do thanks
I have one here too. I seen your work on the steering clutch but didn't see how it acutally came out. Was wondering if you had any other pictures or maybe we could phone and talk. thanks Joe littlejoe27@hotmail.com
i saw that at the fair. im at the 4H in davenport hbu? im restoring a 560 u also should make a video of the crawler. ur luck to restore all of those thing lucky
Hi Calvin, you did a very nice job restoring that old crawler but I need some help and I was seeing if you could help. Do you have the part numbers for the steering clutches because I have a international Drott TD6 crawler loader but it is the same as what you have but has a bucket to it. Well any ways the right clutch broke in half and I was seeing if you had the part numbers so I can get the parts and also could you give me price on what it costs for the clutches and drum. Thanks Cliff
You did an amazing job on that restoration,and you should be very proud of yourself.
You are a great person, with many talents, obviously. Your parents raised a fine young man, and without saying, should be very proud of you, which I am sure they are. Keep up the great work, and thanks for keeping the IH dream alive.

where did u find your light brackets? i have a 57 td-6, i got the lights but no brakets..is there a PTO on yours?

Love it!!!
The older style TD-6 crawler is an iconic piece of IH machinery.
I have a huge respect for anyone who restores crawlers.
I am learning the art of "rescuing" farm tractors, the ones with rubber tyres and reasonable access to transmission etc.
I like the quality of the video-clip too.
Very well made.

@farmallrestorer
I used regular 2150 IH red/rouge paint you can find at any local Case IH or New Holland dealer. I also put in some hardener. 1 can to every gallon
