  • this song was a daily staple back in the day,,saw them at the Bradford Hotel back in 83....Great song great band. Nuff said

  • Listening to Mission Of Burma will make you smarter. Proven fact.

  • mother of god...why wasn't I informed of this band sooner? I feel like I've wasted the past few years not listening to this

  • Yesterday I thought this was a Graham Coxon song then I thought it was Catherine Wheel and today I find the original! TOP TUNE!

  • Still amazing.

  • one of the best songs from the 80s, pity the rest of the public weren't listening

  • @deviantmonkey1 That's why back then it was "Alternative", and only us cool people listened to it back in the day. Still pleasure to the ears........

  • Still one of my favorite songs by anybody. Absolutely brilliant song. Thanks for posting.

  • When Burma first began playing again 10 years ago, their sets were awesome. Deafening just like 30 years past. Roger wearing his runway ear protectors.

Then Clint begins to play the opening bars of Revolver and the song just jumps out at you as being timeless and so great. It has this effortless flow out of the band. All great tunes do. The music plays the band, not the obverse.

Hold the phone? What is this?

Complete with a bridge that is a bass solo. Come up with another song that has that.

  • Listened to it at Skoufaki in kolonaki Athens by Rigas - great dj -. loved it! made my night! Thank you!

  • I stumbled on to these guys accidentally and have been listening to them non stop for a week now! Roger Miller's Elemental Guitar is phenominal too.

  • Amazing...

  • Looking back, I wonder why this band was so commonly associated with Gothic Rock?

  • @jasonledyard1 Mission of Burma were never considered a Goth band. You're thinking of the band The Mission U.K.
