@Sonorakitch That's a poor argument to derail a national rail system. Especially when the FAA take 3 billion to run, and interstate costs 40 billion. Makes absolutely no sense to me, especially when rail is the most efficient form of transportation available. Wonder if Reagan would like to explain why, while he was preaching fiscal responsibility to something that can't compete with other gov't. spending, that he put us in the hole through government spending?
