PLEASE join the Dean Ford Singer/Songwriter Facebook group to get our #s up! We're hoping Dean will do a live chat. Listen to Reflections of my Life and remember what a great Singer/Songwriter he is. Jimi Hendricks said he had the best song of 1967. Then, INVITE YOUR FRIENDS TOO! THANK YOU!
Great song, still have my original copy from 1967. They achieved that "heavy" effect by having guitar, bass and BARITONE guitar to make the riffs fatter. If you listen to their BBC album you will hear they were a great live band as well.
Marmalade deserves to be inducted in the Rock Hall of Fame..(give way and bow your heads...all pretenders..you know who you are...)

@jenapelsin And Status Quo e.g. their first hit 'Matchstick Men' a few months later.
Also Hendrix rated this song the best in '67 and rerecorded Hey Joe after hearing it.

One of the great sixties songs but the original version with the storm effect at the start and end is better.
