Mike played most of the guitar on the album in the studio himself, Brad did lots of production on the album. By the way, check out the song Barack Your World, of Mike Shinoda. He plays that guitar solo too, cool solo. Also the drums. Mike's very talented :)

in the meeting of a thousand suns video. there is a part of the song where brad is playin a fender and runnin some fast licks and then does a few octaves. and mike is like why dont u try that octave idea or somethin like that. mike had just played on the piano the chords for burning in the skies. so i would assume that brad is the one who played the solo
