How long is the Lazy H? 44ft? 88ft? Is it hung vertically? and how high off the ground is it? I noticed there is a big difference in the way one receives over the other. How far apart are they from each other. You have a quiet noise floor.
We have witnessed first hand of how effective a Lazy-H is. It is stunning actually. If planned, orientated with the lobes considered, installed as high as possible and fed correctly, one can obtain incredible gain.
Hi Jim, I am doing a comparison between two identical Lazy H antenna's. One is facing NE/SW and the other N/S. The station is in England and I am switching between the two.

Wow, that's a big difference! Great conditions by the looks of it.
Dave's signal is so strong here, I think I could hear him without an antenna! .... .. .... ..

What is it compared to? Obviously, the stronger signal is the Lazy H, right? :)
