i am from Cu but lives many years in the netherlands i can tell i miss my DUSHI KORSOW i just cant stop crying by seeing this footage, i miss my country i love my country there is no place like Cu, netherlands is jail for many of us
It was filmed at about noon. They appeared on the north/west coast of Curacao (Playa Kalki Beach) at about lunch. And then they started their way down south.
Yes the manta free himself. They came back after a while and we had even a chance to snorkel with them. It was a great experience.
Later the day we figured out that the rays started in the north and swam down south of Curacao. Some others did even a video from in the water. I have no link yet.
Wow! Very lucky to get that footage. We were at AllWest a couple of weeks ago, diving right there. To see them would have been awesome! Did it free itself from the boat or did the fisherman come to its 'aid'
Thanks for this fabulous video! I hope these mantas return to Playa Kalki in mid-March when I;ll be at the Kura Hulanda Beach Club.

Manta #1: Hey, love, let's pinch one of those strange floating human objects, what say you?
Manta #2: Sounds like fun, sweetheart, but which one do we pick?
Manta #1: How about this one?
Manta #2: Naaaahh, seems too big, I think that one there is better... :D

Just in our beach they stayed about 1 hour.

Okee thank you....I also like the music you added
It makes it even more mystical.
I lived on the island till 1986 and it is always good to see some of the nature over there espasially some of the sealife.
