That's an impressive drive+result! The time is close to a Golf R32, GTI and shows, that a good suspension/chassis can compensate a lack of power easily on the racetrack :)

Excuse my ignorance but clear this up for me...Are you telling me that you did 9 minutes in this amazing track with a 140hp auto gt? You were shifting in the video. What were you doing shifting from L to 2 then Drive??

yep, i`m surprised he so fast with the celica vvti engine, too. with michelin ps2 or ps3 and 40mm spacers he`d surely get below 9min.

Nice vid. You had a "moment" with the Scirocco (suppose it was a rental scirocco), when he almost closed on you when you were about to overtake him.

When you drive you may NEVER look in you mirrors. It's rule nr1 when you go on the circuit (i know with bikes it is)

And what's the weird sound of the car? Is the window open?

@kefkeuh No thats not true its a tourist racing day (touristenfahrten) and you have to look in your mirrors and move to the side and turn on your indicator to let quicker people past. The noice you hear is worn rear tyres

@kefkeuh well worn surface not much thread left and cupped edges on the tyres. but enaf to give it its last trash around the circuit :) the noice is pretty bad @ highspeed in the video.
