just in case if that matters: An ICE driving at 300 km/h pushes a considerable amount of air in front of it. Even IF there was a cow in the middle of the track, this very cow would be struck by this amount of air and simply pushed away without even touching the train itself. OK, the result would be the same for the cow, but the train would remain undamaged.

Wenn sich diese Personen nicht für Züge Interessieren dann sollen sie sich nicht Video ansehn in denen Wöter im Titel wie "ICE 3" oder "Bahnhof" vorkommen.

Des is fast schon unangenehm, wenn man als wartender Fahrgast einem mit 300 km/h heranrauschenden ICE so "nah" kommen muss. Wenn da wenigstens eine Art Schallschutz dazwischen wäre, so ginge es noch...Der Bahnhof Bitterfeld ist auch net besser. Da kommen einem die Schnellzüge auch mit teilweise 220 km/h entgegen. Bei nur 2-3 Meter Abstand zum entsprechenden Gleis frag Ich mich oft, ob man das nicht anders handhaben könnte.

Because of the discussion a bit earlier here my calculation. Let be the smartass :-)

Downloaded the video and investigate with video editing program and fine shuttle steps a duration time of 0,34 seconds per wagon.

The middlewagon has a length of 24,775 meter. So you have to divide the length (in kilometers) with the duration time (in hours).

Result:

262,3 km/h

Just stop the whole train (2 ICE3-train are 402 Meters), I did it 10 times and got as average value 4,9 seconds, which means (402/4,9)*3,6=295 kmh. which is pretty close to 300, don't forget that this is a very inaccurate way to calculate the velocity of the train
