  • The fountains were in Indianapolis. Our class took a trip to see a museum. The cat and the sleds are because this was my first attempt at video transfer and didn't know how to edit.

  • I'm a 67 grad -- I don't remember those portables, and the fountain kinda' threw me too until I read the posts. Great school and thank you for posting.

  • best sskooooll ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • THEY HAD A FOUNTAIN FUCK THEM

  • That is Jack Twombly, and we created a "utopia" in that portable. And all the cars are land boats! What a satire.

  • Is that Jack Twombly sitting behind the desk at 0:55?

  • Yes it is. I remember his name being

Timothy Twombly. I had him for home room in one of the portables.

  • Jack was great. He brought his guitar into class one day and sang "Guinnevere". I always thought he looked like Chuck Negron. Last time I saw him was when he performed with his celtic band called Ceol Cridhe a few years ago. This link shows a fairly recent photo of him. Scroll to the middle of the page to where it says Ceol Cridhe.

  • I saw how he looks now, still looks good. He didn't seem much older than we were at Atherton.

  • I was at Atherton in '73, what a great place to go to school then! Thanks for posting .... loved to be able to see those faces and parts of the school again.

  • God I hated this school so much.:(

  • i dont know i kind of like it there

  • Seneca is better

  • I went to both. Seneca is NOT better.

  • The fountain scene wasn't at Atherton. That was a class trip we took to a museum in Indianapolis.

  • Whoa, I didn't know we had a fountain.....I go to Atherton now XD I think they got rid of that fountain....like a long time ago

Most of it still looks the same though...

  • Damn, I saw one of my old teachers, Mr. Tomblin on this. I graduated in 1973 and this was a trip in the Wayback Machine for me.

Thanks for the post kyguy05, whoever you are.

  • Thanks, we might know each other as I also graduated in 1973

  • I go to Atherton High School!!! I'm going to look for at least a trace of the school name on the wall in the front of Atherton!! Wow the cars and the clothes are so different, however when that girl flicked you off I knew that your all's use of language probably was just as bad as it is now. LOL THIS IS AMAZING!!!!

  • Thanks! I'm going to look for the name also. I never thought it might be gone. I drive by Atherton often. Tell everyone at Atherton to look at it as I have no way to contact them. At least the girl that flicked me smiled lol.

  • Ok I'll tell them. It's just a matter of whether they'll listen. They can be stubborn sometimes. Once again, thanks so much for sharing this with the future generations of Atherton Students, and the rest of the people who want to see what life was like so many years ago!!

  • Thanks, I know what you mean. BTW this video for some reason has a link under it that says

"Watch in High Quality" When you click and watch in High Quality it does actually look better.

  • The fountain was a trip to Indianapolis our class took. The actual Atherton part starts with the guy combing his hair. Thanks

  • wow lmfao this is ancient my cuzin go to atherton high school in louisville but i didnt know they have a water foution

  • do you still have the camera?

  • It's still at my parents house in good condition. I'm sure it will never be used again.

I need to show a photo of the camera, three lenses and it winds up.

  • Is Time Is Pretty Funky.
