  • Your hair is the reason why Nubian hair was bought by Egyptians. The benefits of beautiful shiny hair with no lice!. I know that is out there but your final braid out reminded me of the Nubian wigs that Egyptian royalty wore. Absolutely gorgeous!!

  • What affect did the Cassia have on your hair?

  • Your hair is gorgeous!

  • If there's a Whole Foods in your area you can get your henna from there, I just bought mine from there today, I was so happy!!

  • Did you know Cassia was one of the ingredients in Jesus' Holy Anointing Oil?

  • wow you hair is so perfectly kinky.

  • Are you still using Cassia Obavata? I remember when you did this. I am loving Cassia.

  • Queen...how did you get your hair like that--shorter at the front and longer at the back????

  • DId you wash your hair first, then apply the cassia?

  • your hair is pretty/

can i use this on transitioning hair?

  • Do you take any vitamin supplements?

  • There i such a Cassia Obovata trend going on in the natural hair community! Seems like everyone and they mama is doing it. i may be missin the train!! lol iWanna try.

  • Wow. I couldn't imagine putting this much effort into my hair on any given day. I condition it in the shower every day, but I only shampoo once a week. That's about it, though. Kudos to you for your efforts! Your hair is GORGEOUS.

  • Will this cover any gray hair? OMG, girl, your hair is gorgeous!

  • @natrlchallenge No, Cassia isn't for gray (unless your hair is blonde) but henna will get it

  • How long u been natural ?

  • Do you still do this treatment?

  • hi KKQ, do you still do these treatments? Your hair is gorgeous!

  • @1960genius I've missed a couple treatments but I'll be ordering more soon. I wish I could find Cassia locally :(

  • i love how you have so much patience with your hair! your styles always come out super cute :o)

  • You have beautifully thick hair!

  • Purchase Ancient Sunrise ™ Henna for Hair Kit: Blonde (pure cassia obovata

IS THIS THE NAME OF THE CASSIA

  • I just ordered my Cassia!

    Can't wait to use it!

I just got the 25g because my hair is a TWA- only about 2 inches long.

Do you think that will be enough??

  • omg luv ur hair...but shrinkage is a beast...sheesh..lol

  • @KinkyKurlyQueen Hello! I would like to ask about how long did it take you to completely wash out the cassia? And also, how many cowashes did you need to do to get it out of your hair? Thanks in advance. =)

  • where can i find this cassia...is it at the supermarkets??

  • Question: What if you have light brown colored hair on the ends of your hair and you use cassia? Will that color be emphasized or will it just leave it the way it already is??

  • How often do you use cassia?

  • as much as you like

  • What type of denman brush do you have??

  • lookes lovely.

  • Your hair/shrinkage is so pretty!

  • Hi!

I just did my first cassia treatment last saturday! I was very pleased with the results! I love your hair!!!! I am gonna do another cassia treatment soon...lol!

  • @MahoganyCurls I'm glad u liked it! Did you make a video of your process, if so do a video response!!!

  • No, girl...i didnt record. When I do my nex treatment in a few weeks, I will post a video response!

  • Which conditioner did you use to mix with the cassia, if you did use any?

  • @mishsamuels I mixed in the Bee Mine Nourishing Conditioner

  • I meant to say Bee Mine Balanced Conditioner......

  • How many grams of cassia do you use for an application?

  • @Tapred1 100g.

  • why did you stop using elucence line?

  • @lit26 I still use the elucence condish sometimes, but I prefer bee mine's shampoo over elucence.

  • @Iziken It doesn't really make my hair feel any thicker but its hands down the best deep conditioner I have ever used. My curls are so springy and smooth after. I would suggest trying this out first and if the results are not enough for your hair then move up to henna.

  • Hey KKQ,

How often do you do this treatment?

  • @libralove83 Just once a month.

  • you made me order some of this stuff today! Great video! THANK YOU!!

  • @1960genius Great! If you record the process make a video response to this vid so others can see how it works on different textures!!

  • that came out really cute

  • I like your hair!!! I just have one question did you try to straight your hair with a flat iron? to see the lengh, I can't wait to have my hair long as yours.

bisous de france (hello from france)

  • @Tinkerball971 The last time I flat ironed my hair was last April I think. I recorded the process and its still available to watch. I don't have any desire to flat iron my hair right now though. Thx for the french lesson :-)

  • I love your hair. I can not wait for my hair to get that long.

  • One question - have you used bentonite clay before? If so, how did you like it compared to cassia?

  • @sisterboyd I have only used Bentonite clay for facials. I may try it for my hair one day...

  • Great video! Thanks for doing this and being thoughtful enough to put all of the information in the description box>>>>>>>>>>>

  • @sisterboyd Thank You :-)

  • beautiful hair baby girl!

  • KKQ...Thank you soooo much! Because of you I ordered ALL the sample size products of BeeMine...LOVE them! I am now about to purchase the real life sizes to add to my newly forming product cabinet. I am sooo tempted to cut my hair and start from scratch because it's been 5 years of being natural and I can't get my length past the bottom of my chin (stretched out), it's been like 2 or 3 years for you and yours is crazy long! Any advice? It's so frustrating because it's been such a long time!

  • Im am going to look into this treatment...the vid was REALLY informational (as well as the description box) Your braid out was ON POINT! Go Hair!! ;-)

  • Great video...Be Bleesed!!!!

  • How long do u walk around with the braids before you take them out bc they are extremely defined??? Great job, u totally make transitioning a bit easier. Cant wait till im that long to do it

  • Fabulous results and great vid. Braid outs are my favorite too.

  • I love your hair! So beautiful! I did a cassia treatment a few days ago and it had my hair smelling like dish soap.

  • Where did you buy the cassia at? Can you get it from the Indian store like Henna?

  • You should be able to. The Indian grocery stores that I frequent for henna usually sell it. Maybe you'll want to call first before you go.

  • @fauxmixedhair its in the description box ===>

  • @ItsMsFaith Thanks! I was hoping I could go to a local Indian store so that I didn't have to wait for it to be shipped :-)

    Happy SUPER BOWL Sunday!

  • oh okay I gotcha! Well I hope you find it! Im gonna get me some myself ;-)

  • im definitely gonna try the cassia... ur braidout is real cute.

  • I'm sitting here cracking up because I'm from the same state you're from and I haven't been home in a while and I here the news playing in the background and now I'm missing home. LOL!! Thanks for an awesome vid. Your vids are informative. I have been eyeing this for a while, but I have some gray in the front. I'm glad you shared your info b/c now before I use it I will pluck those grays out of my head. LOL!! Thanks a bunch and keep the vids coming. We appreciate them.

  • @nettiegonehealthy LOL at you all up in my TV :-) Thanks for the kind words!!

  • i know you aren't a professional but in your opinion, will this work for color damaged hair? i went and got a good trim so i'm concentrating on nursing my hair back to health.

  • If your hair is damaged those effects can't be undone but cassia nor henna will add any further damage that's already been incurred.

  • @SCdymond I can't 100% say that it will but its definetly worth a shot!!

  • im convinced. lol i just ordered me some. i can't wait to try it! :)

  • @PRETTYDIMPLES I look forward to seeing your video on it!!

  • Ok!!! Thanks for your response. I will be ordering this today!!

  • Great video... Your hair is getting long!! As always, you information is on point - thanks. Love your hair! Take care, Peace...

  • your hair turned out so pretty. What product did you use to do your braidout? Your hair looks so soft and shiny.

  • hey i i love your hair it is simply beautiful. i have a twa its been 2 months since my BC. did u know your hair was going to be this thick when u had your BC?

  • Comment removed

  • Don't hate the shrinkage my dear it's part of the beauty of natural hair. As Summyr1988 says "I have short hair, psych!" You can rock a short style 1 day and a long one the next! It's like your hair grew overnight, you can trip ppl out with that! If you need a quick go to stretch, braidouts are really good for stretching the hair, especially when you do them 2 nights in a row.

  • @Weewinkle7 Never said I hated or had a problem with it shrinkage. I love my hair no matter how long or short it may appear to some. I was just pointing it out....

  • That's cool, just reassuring a fellow natural sister that our hair is beautiful in all its form and incredibly versatile as well.

  • great video the Nickelodeon or Disney on in the back is hilarious as well!! Thanks for the tips!!

  • could i use this if im still transitioning??

  • The results were great. your hair is so heathy. I can truely appreciate to time and efforts of other naturals, cuz honey I know wash day is an orchestrated task at times.

    thanks for sharing

    ~keep it real

  • @AFRICANEXPORT I like how you said that "an orchestrated task"..So true!!

  • I want to say thanks for sharing. I see and read about different products but aren't sure if they are any good. These reviews are really helpful.

  • I love it! This method seems alot easier than henna and with the same benefits. Maybe I'll try...thanks for teaching me something new!!

  • Thanks for the video!!! I did my research and Im interested. Im not sue if I missed you saying this, but how many packs of the Cassia did you use? Did you purchase only one sample pack from website? I see they are only $1. Just wanted to know how many packs to use! THANKS

  • @kewastyle No I purchased whole 100g packs. This time I only used one pack but as my hair grows I'll have to use a pack and a half.

  • whats ur hair type? how long have u been growing ur hair??

  • @TaylorGoldd 4a/3c...I been natural for 2 years.

  • Hi KKQ, thanks for the video, loved it, very informative as always. Question, could you do a product video? TIA

  • I actually got the idea to try cassia from your blog and I have tried it a few times. Thank you for all your tips. Cassia is amazing and I love it =] ..I have video up on my experience with it if you like to watch it

  • GREAT VIDEO DOLL!!!

  • I love how thick your hair is and the shape of it.

  • Wow your hair got sooo long!

Congrats on such length, strength and health ^_^

  • @dizlee86 Thank You!! Hard work pays off :-)

  • Did you put the cassia on dry or damp hair?

  • @Beatstopper Yes, I applied it to damp hair

  • I freakin LOVE your hair! I can not wait, to attain your length!!! Such an inspiration!

  • @steakmakeup Thank You! Just be patient :-)

  • what is cassia? is it a dye? is it permanent?

  • Answers in the side bar ----->>>

  • Thanks for pointing that out to her, I figured "More Info" was self explanatory...LOL!!

  • i read that it didnt say what it does to the color of african american hair

  • That's why I provided links for you to do your own research...I can't copy & paste everything for you.

I don't use Cassia to dye my hair!
