I have seen some pretty bad indications where I live. The people in the system have to want to do what's right. If they dont care, or if they have friends involved with bad things, the wrong foster parents will be chosen by these workers. All workers in cps should have no criminal record. There must be background checks to keep criminals out of the system.

CPS in Oregon is a "waiting spider". Any allegation will lead to a CPS (accosted w/police) investigation. After an allegation and investigation THEY document a report labelled "unfounded". The State of Oregon does not seem to mind issueing driver licenses to illegal aliens or other sorts of pandering. But, as a U.S citizen and resident you stand a greater liklihood (if you have children) of being investigated for an allegation of child abuse. Its called health and Human services, now.

My kid's adoptive mother was a little on the strange side. She was teaching my kid sign language, and not requiring her to speak also. And they were saying her speech development was slow...
Also when it becomes evident that your child's low weight isn't improving, they'll change the weight to make it look like you neglected the child. They'll tell you your kid might have HIV (and then when you go to her doctor to discuss it he'll say she doesn't have HIV) do not ask me why they were going there with it. I don't know. But they get EXTRA money if there's something wrong with a kid.
Did you know saying you don't have to pee is refusing a drug test. And even when you pee a couple hours later and it comes back clean they can say you need to take a bunch of drug tests. (sure why not. the longer they can keep the kids tied up the more money they get)
I don't think the issue is who they go after. They make up stuff. And don't expect your lawyer to protect you. the lawyers are the ones that don't want to work.
CPS goes after parents who have been accused of doing something minor to their kids because that's the easy rhing to do. Going after parents who actually abuse their kids would mean CPS would have to work hard & they don't want to do that.

What has happened to ethics and honor codes. I'm glad the only social workers I have come in contact with are through working at hospital where they cared about the children and looked into backgrounds, home life, and current situations. The hospital even stopped giving out car seats because parents took advantage of it and wouldn't buy one.

I know all to well. my kids keep getting given to abusers and me never having ever an abuser. and also have seen a judge many times tell CASA to get with the special ppl they know.. and this video is so sad that is just what the workers did to me. CPS is mean hand hold your kids over your head to get you to do what they want you to do. I have feared my husband for so long now out of that and they have my kids and they make me fear them saying they will not let me see my kids at all if I fight

i was interviewed by a CPS worker because i told a class that I was sexually harassed. it was a long time ago.. my teacher told me that he has to call CPS if he hears something that needs to take note of... so yeah i didn't care and just said it...
so yeah the CPS worker was nice.. but the last thing i want to happen is get seperated from my mom (she's not the harrasser). So now... if CPS comes i would tell them to do their job right.. and if they don't leave... i'll hurt them

I have seen some pretty bad indications where I live. The people in the system have to want to do what's right. If they dont care, or if they have friends involved with bad things, the wrong foster parents will be chosen by these workers. All workers in cps should have no criminal record. There must be background checks to keep criminals out of the system.

CPS workers are given a $5000 bonus per child that they get adopted by a foster family regardless of how bad the family is, CPS workers get a $7000 bonus for children whom are special needs that they get adopted. sickening isnt it?

Some of it is organized crime mixed in with what is supposed to be legit, but child trafficking and kidnapping and un-lawful confinement is not legit. I say this as I was in care. And that is what they did to most of us. Some of us needed to be in care. But sadly, the government has no idea what that even means.

I was in one of their state children's "homes" - run by paedophiles, nearly 40 years ago, in Lichfield, Staffordshire. I was abused, but not as badly as some of the children. I was only punched and put in a cell (for crying at bedtime) I was not sexually abused at that place (I was put there as a place of safety, after being sexually abused)

CPS in Oregon is a "waiting spider". Any allegation will lead to a CPS (accosted w/police) investigation. After an allegation and investigation THEY document a report labelled "unfounded". The State of Oregon does not seem to mind issueing driver licenses to illegal aliens or other sorts of pandering. But, as a U.S citizen and resident you stand a greater liklihood (if you have children) of being investigated for an allegation of child abuse. Its called health and Human services, now.

Also when it becomes evident that your child's low weight isn't improving, they'll change the weight to make it look like you neglected the child. They'll tell you your kid might have HIV (and then when you go to her doctor to discuss it he'll say she doesn't have HIV) do not ask me why they were going there with it. I don't know. But they get EXTRA money if there's something wrong with a kid.

I defently agree i change my mind i would not shoot at them i'd fight like hell in court and too if i was a cps officer i would acess the situation before any decison and i would offer to help with what ever is making it hard

Corruption, paid social workers, pressure from higher "positions", court re-unifies families - CPS refuses cause foster parents do not want to give the cild back.
Pedophile forster families or staff in foster homes.
Children are property of the state here.
Some couples ordered a special child and this child then is stolen by CPS from their parents. It is easier than to adopt or to pay an agency. The couples can "test" the new child - like from catalogue.

Thank you! I'm sick at heart from all the nightmarish stories I've heard from natural parents and escapees from foster care and adoption. Also, many CPS agents will lie and lie to get babies and children for adoption. It's too much to bear. What's on here is the tip of the dirty stinking iceberg.

What has happened to ethics and honor codes. I'm glad the only social workers I have come in contact with are through working at hospital where they cared about the children and looked into backgrounds, home life, and current situations. The hospital even stopped giving out car seats because parents took advantage of it and wouldn't buy one.

ANOTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCY OUT OF CONTROL. During the middle ages, anyone could accuse anyone of "witchcraft" and the inquisitors with amost 100% certainty would find you guilty. Why? because the inquisitors got to take the assets of the accused and their immediate family. CPS is working with the same dynamic by getting government funding based on the number of permanent removals!!

Get over yourselves and let CPS do their jobs and protect children. No system is perfect and I think they do the best they can. If your so concerned about "real child abuse" make a report because know one knows about it unless it is reported. I stand behind Texas and believe they did the right thing. FLDS won a criminal case but the civil case is still on going and being Investigator. Keep up the hard work CPS.

It's easier to turn a blind eye and a cold shoulder then to see if you made a mistake.. and for those kinds of people mistakes end job positions and public admeration... Texas recently shot itself in the foot attempting to take 460+ children of a religious group(FLDS). The fallout is just beginning with a $14M bill for a failure. When the courts get through with Texas CPS and state government it won't try this again. The director of DFPS(oversight of CPS) recently slinked out the back door into retirement with an idea of what's coming.

Most posts are taken down by SS's. Here in the UK we have "Adoption Targets" that districts have to make. Our SS's steal children without any reason, they diagnose MSBP - Already proven not to exisit. They still use it to get what they want. Children are a commodity, sickening but true.
