Like all films based off of comic books set in the '60s, it has a totally generic soundtrack...Yeah, like we haven't heard Green Onions before. This is what partially ruined the Watchmen film for me...Totally insulted my knowledge of classic music...Plus, there was also a very cleverly hidden racist joke.
So what are your thoughts on each of the superhero films that have been released this year? Me personally I loved Captain America and First Class, I thought Green Lantern was decent for what it was worth. But I REALLY hated Thor, because I thought it was too much like a fish out of water story for me and was a real let down.

I liked parts of the First Class trailer. I think Fassbender looks fantastic as Magneto, and I'm looking forward to the Hellfire Club. Other than that, I don't really have a great sense of anticipation for this film.

If this movie proves anything, is that reboots can be a good thing. I didn't like the previous X-Men movies. Too much black. They're supposed to be super-heroes, not pilots or secret agents. I'm not saying that I'd like to see Wolverine using his underwear over his spandex pants, because that would be silly and I'd hate it, but at least have costumes that have some resemblance to the comics, like the ones used in this movie.

I'm on the fence with this one. After x-men 3 I'm very cautious with every x-men movie that comes out. I like wolverine probably becuase I had very low expectations for it, don't get me wrong the movie did have its flaws but I'd gladdly watch that movie over x-men 3. My hatred for x-men 3 is on the same level of Eric's for TF2, I just despise that movie. I'll go see it but I'm going in very cautious.

The timeline does make sense to me. Besides Magneto, Prof X, Mystique and Beast none of the characters are in the other movies. With those characters Magneto and Prof X age about 40 years between the 60s and 2001 and look to be in their 60s in the first X movie. Mystiques power is to tshapeshift her looking young isnt an issue. Beast also could be in his 50s or 60s in the third movie (considering hes covered with fur, and his powers would keep him in shape).
