Yes i knew a girl from Singapore once and she explained to me what she knew in relation to Cantonese and Mandarin and she gave me a book on Singlish, but of course Singlish is just a mix of Singaporean and English and has nothing to do with full Cantonese or Mandarin :(

ahahs im from singapore too yea singlish is just a local slang however cantonese isn too common in singapore alot ppl say they can speak it but half the time its hard to understand my dad is from hong kong so i can speak abit but not too much tho if you wan more exposure to mandarin or cantonese i recommend going hong kong,china and taiwan most singaporeans can speak mandarin but they mostly talk in 'singlish'
