nice chicken pickin dude, that is something i definitely gotta learn howta do, it'd be col to whip that out every now and again..nnice playin brother rea;;y nice..ROCK ON!!!
Man it's amazing, I love this guitar and I did your same thing the first day I took it home!! As you can see, I posted a video response, if you want to do the same thing on mine you're welcome!! Axis rocks!!
Very high quality Axis, over 1800 dollars. If you wan the same sound just get a Ibanez RG11570 and put in a Tone Zone and Air Norton. EVH. Save yourself 200 bucks.
Music man guitars are not really compared to ibanez, but it's maybe just me. Ibanez are maybe the best axes out there concerning playability but their tone.. I don't think that ibanez spent time/money developing their tone that much..
awesome playing, but you need to let go of the EVH clone thing.. your good enough to find your own style of playing.. take this how you wish, but you know its true..
the tremolo bridge on super sport models is more of the average tremolo type in the sense that it does not lock so with van halen style dives you will go out of tune unless you have locking tuners (like this guitar does) but a floyd rose is a double locking tremolo system meaning that once you go through the pain in the ass tuning it will be really hard to get out of tune even with huge dives
unless, of course, you like to bend strings a lot, in which case every other string goes out of tune temporarily if you have a floating trem like a floyd rose.
I don't think that particular guitar has the piezo on it. You can get it with a piezo though. And yes you can get it with a Rosewood fretboard. They also have a model of the guitar that is ALL Rosewood. It kicks so much ass.
It's actually only a Line 6 podxt set on the "eruption" setting...it sounds thin because it's just being recorded through the tiny mic in my digital camera.

I like you tone better with the Carvin Bolt.
JessieBolt 4 years ago
The Carvin clips were done through a real amp...this was done through a POD xt...
no comparison!
Nothing against the carvins...i still have a CT6 and love it...I'm just into the AXIS guitars more these days.
thanks for your comments!
jefbateman 4 years ago
That is a sweet guitar, no doubt. But i would go with the plain axis so you get the locking trem
DaKewlGuy1234 4 years ago
nice playing. The guitar looks just like my OIP
