  • I bet he grew that beard for 28 days prior to filming the movie.

  • whats the name of the song that plays when cillian murphy has just left the hospital and is picking up lots of money off the street?

  • @Rockaliscious13 East Hastings by "Godspeed You! black Emperor"

The whole song is actually fifteen minutes long though.. lmao.

  • @Rockaliscious13 /watch?v=Z7LjjmSYTdQ&list=LLhJg_8p5n0LswZdUqXK2e0w&index=2&feature=plpp_video

    east hasting

  • pictures are for google not youtube

  • @REALB002 People are here for the music, not a video. I am saying this before anyone else goes caps rage for such a stupid comment.

  • Was this song in another movie? 'Cause it sounds familiar but not from 28. . Weird.

  • @AztasticProductions it was in last house on the left

  • danmets44 were the fuck did you get that from

  • IF A ZOMBIE INFECTION EVER BROKE LOOSE MY WEAPONS OF CHOICE WOULD BE A CUP FULL OF LUBE TO JACK OFF MY HARD DICK AS I SMACKED THE SHIT OUTTA ZOMBIES WITH MY HARD DIIIICK!!

  • Cillian Murphy is awesome

  • I hope that somebody makes a game about 28 days later, although they shouldn't go the route that Valve and Capcom made by including super fast zombies, or making it so that your character has superpowers. Just make it identical to the film. I'd love to play as Jim when Davis and Henry are looking for him at the blockade, that part had a sense of guerrila fighting about it.

  • The only part that got me was when he drove the taxi over all that junk under the tunnel . . . . overturned cars . . . . dead bodies . . . . as if a london taxi loaded up with heaps of luggage and carrying 4 passengers is gonna be able to drive over all that stuff and not get stuck! You'd be lucky to make it out of that tunnel in a 4x4, so yeah that kind of bothered me but I love the film!

  • HELLO?!

  • love the locations in this film.the music was spot on.

  • I don't suppose anyone knows the chords for this...

  • im gonna play this when i die

  • 28 Days Later is one of the few movies with a amazing-memorable sountrack...

  • @JoseMB13 Everything by John Murphy is memorable.

  • If someone can figure on how to do a loop on the first few seconds of this to make it last forever I'll call them a cool person

  • "Do you think they saw us this time......."

  • @danmets44 that was beautiful

  • 2012 is comming the virus

  • that song is very beautiful

  • Here, apparently, is how they did this (pinched from another site): The crew closed off sections of street for minutes at a time, usually in early morning to minimise disruption. Portions of the film were shot on a small, easily manoeuvred Canon XL1 digital video camera. For the London scene where Jim walks by the overturned double-decker bus, the film crew placed the bus on its side and removed it when the shot was finished, all within 20 minutes.

  • You know, I was born on April 27, 1976 and the actor Cillian Murphy (who plays the lead role of Jim in this movie) was born 28 days later on May 25, 1976.

  • @19pkatet Whoa, thats awesome.

  • @19pkatet I wish I could go round saying that. X) That's awesome!

  • the rage virus will be caught by the 4 people who hit the dislike button so men women get your guns ready

  • This just made me wanna shout out; HELLLooUU?!?!?

  • Never thought about it that way, but now you say so... Hello!

  • Awesome soundtrack. All Danny Boyle films have... a bit like Tarantino... always a well thought through soundtrack which does the movie justice if not the other way around.

  • This may sound weird, given the theme of the movie but, my wife walked down the aisle to this track :-)

  • I'm going to bite the 14 people who liked this. :)

  • M60 on the plains of the edge of the city, you hear a roar, suddenly your not alone. You have 99,999 infected to give a hug . . . WITH LEAD!

  • this is the song I wanna hear before I die :)

  • Jim was pretty stupid when he ran looking for those cheeseburgers. Talk about appetite at a time like that, English prick.

  • @4161248 OI english aren't pricks you dick head

  • @4161248 If it was the apocalypse, wouldn't you want a f-king cheeseburger?

  • Comment removed

  • @4161248 He's not English in the film, nor is he English in real life. Get back to the drawing board pal.

  • @OneEyedWheeler

    its in england dirty wanker.

hehe sorry i just had to

  • @Aidan0128 yeahhhh but he meant Jim's Irish

  • @Aidan0128 Indeed it is set in England but as our immigration services will testify, being in England doesn't make you English.

  • @Aidan0128 And I should add that if you try and tell an Irishman (Jim) that he's English you will probably see rage far worse than any infected zombie.

  • @OneEyedWheeler

Well if we are talking about Jim (the charecter from the film) I doubt the character would get THAT angry over being confused for being an Englishmen, rather then an Irishmen.. Considering the fact he live's in London. Not every Irish person hate's the English you know? =P But yes, u are right.. You shouldn't call an Irish man English, and its not as if the accents sound alike, its not hard telling apart someone from ireland to someone from england

  • whoever aranged the sounndtrack for 28 days later is a genius.

  • @ Waffles: I liked the ending. While incredibly bittersweet, it left me with something to think about. Though, I stated at my TV for a good minute wishing they would have been seen. :(

  • @TripleRainbowify Umm.. I didn't understand your comment, do you talk about ending of 28 Days Later?

The pilots saw them, they spoke finnish and they said ''We send Helicopter'' so they survived.

  • can someone tell me what was so disliked about the ending? i liked it because you wonder what happend

  • This movie is such a brilliant piece of work. Even though the ending is generally disliked, I thought it was well executed, but bittersweet. I was left speechless for a few minutes after Jim smiled and the the screen fell black.

  • anyone know where i can get this song??? other than iTunes.....:)

  • this was not just a beautiful, perfect movie - it was a work of art.

28 days later will forever have a special place in my memory.

  • @mdomales85 I very much agree. It was indeed. It wasn't just your average movie, not even your average zombie movie...it was so much more. The music was perfect, the movie itself was deep...you were getting different points of view on a post-apocalyptic world, and seeing them change each other in the process too...especially Selena who becomes less of a cynic and pessimist. This movie was tense at times, but it also gave you nice breaks too, and it was executed perfectly. I just love it.

  • i love this movie, BIG BEN :)

  • I remember in the directors commentary, there was supposed to be a McDonalds lorry tipped over in the Big Ben scene, but they cut it out in fear of McD will sue Danny Boyle. This is one of the best "zombie" movie I ever seen, watched it while I was still living in London too so it feels a bit scary.

  • i feel like i just stepped into heaven holy shit

  • Aww...man...just listening to this makes me want to buy both 28 days/weeks later, instead of renting it. Then I would sit in my room watching it over and over again.

  • More than just a zombie movie. This is a film about life, a film of hope and a film of holding onto that which is dearest to the heart, the normality of ones memories. Danny Boyle beautifully juxtaposes horrifying scenery of death and chaos with John Murphy's beautiful score to show that there is hope and amid all the horror, there is a glimpse of humanity striving to pour through the cracks of darkness into the light.

  • @danmets44 DAMN

  • @danmets44 That...that was really beautiful, man.

  • @youcomeupwithone LOL thanks! I love this movie, Danny Boyle is the man!

  • @danmets44 You stole my thought, man. :)

  • @danmets44 my arse. its about zombies eating folk lol

  • @dereksmallsuk lmao, well that too!

  • @danmets44 Juxtaposes, I'm impressed :)

  • @123afish lol thanks, I love film!

  • @danmets44 Thats Deep bro.

  • @danmets44 No, its a zombie movie.

  • @masterxl97 More than just a zombie movie.

  • @masterxl97

No. you sir, take my words out

  • @danmets44 You take my words out!!! ... Thanks.

  • this should be longer! x

  • Agree. Very good movie, and so was 28 weeks later. Am I the only one who thought at the end of 28 weeks later, that a 3rd movie is going to come? It's "made" for it.

  • Imagine if this really happened?

  • One of the best zombie movies of all time! Even though they weren't really zombies. The only bad part was the father getting turned into one of them because a drop of blood fell into his eye, I thought that was completely stupid, but everything else was awesome.

  • unbelievable movie

  • Comment removed

  • I am legend aint got SHIT on this

  • this is definitely my favourite modern day horror film. i like 28 weeks as well but not nearly as much..

  • where can i download this?

  • @BastardDouche youtube converter

  • This will be the song that plays when I'm buried under the ground.

  • i wonder what happend to them after the the jet saw em

  • @ChanceReed They all went and got some peelz and had a party. But then a tank got them.

  • This is one of my favourite movies of all time. I'd probably put it in my top five.

  • I'm going to infect the 3 people who disliked this.

  • @UnexplainedDirge I bet they are infected already. Just think about it, what would an infected do while watching a YouTube video? Destroying the screen won't work so of course they'll hit the dislike button. :)

  • @UnexplainedDirge Please dont, because then they'll bite people and then we'll have a zombie outbreak on our hands O.O

  • @UnexplainedDirge they've infected two more :(......it starts

  • @UnexplainedDirge those 3 have infected another 3 what have you DONE!!!!

  • If I were in that situation, I would follow this order: Find "The Cavern," Barricade it up, find supplies and weapons, find records, listen to Beatles, give zombies middle finger, repeat from step 2 or 3.

  • Selena: Jim, we already have food.

Jim: We don't have any cheeseburgers.

    Best movie ever.

  • @Ethanodd1 i remember that:)

  • @Ethanodd1 I can haz cheezburger?

  • The movie is SO awesume :)

  • i FUCKING love this song!!

  • You know, this comment has nothing to do with the song, though I love the song and 28 Days Later is my favorite movie. I just have to correct some people who dub this a 'zombie' movie. It isn't. There are no zombies in the entire film. Every infected character is still alive, simply infected with rage and senseless. They never died, though.

  • @KirKir21 zombies dont have to be dead the term zombie either means people raised from the dead the undead (this is what your thinking of) or just a mindless human beings. if there was ever a zombie Armageddon then it would be from infections not witch doctors raising people from the dead. but you do prove a good point

  • @KirKir21 eventually they died though when they starved to death 28 days later.

  • A new screen version of The War of The Worlds, a proper one set in London and everything, could not go far wrong by looking to 28 Days Later for inspiration for scenes showing London deserted in the wake of the invasion.

  • easily one of the best films I've ever seen.

  • John Murphy needs to branch out and become a true post-rock recording artist, this is seriously too good to be left behind moving pictures.

  • Just so you know the whole cast aren't 'UKers' - Cillian Murphy's character is Irish...

  • @robbybecker so? We are all the same

  • thats completely destroyed and with a few humans with probably a few weapons , being hunted , they would have to wait for the zombies to die of hunger and then repopulate the earth

  • yh firstly depending how fast it spreads and how it spreads, if its like thorugh like the air , there's no chance, also if it some how gets water or some type of food and lets say we talk it goes global then theres no way our armies can kill most of the world's population unless we bomb everything which is not garenteed to get every single ones , and also they may have unbelieveable strength and they wouldn't just stop for a break like we do, they wouldn't sleep ,so we would end up with aplanet

  • oh come all u guys are doin is trying to make yourselfs feel better in case it does happen you'll know that it will be taken care , we all know that an infection like that can't be handled, think about it , wat has the army or police done thats right? they haven't caught binladen, they still don't know who shot kennedy , the fact is taking control of it would be impossible, they would have to evacuate the people that they can, remember zombies don't care if they get shot

  • @princepe123 How can we NOT avoid this infection? Are you serious? You only shoot an organism in the brain to kill it, shooting a bunch of zombies in the head is not that hard.. Your comment says that you think our army and police are a bunch of reckless idiots, doesn't that mean they will just shoot a person who has signs of the virus on the spot without any questions asked?

  • @garrarush Dude it isn't that simple to shoot someone in the head. It could take weeks/months to learn how to properly use a weapon and then you gotta learn to accuratly shoot somone or something in the head. Lol I sound stupid but whatever, GUYS READ WORLD WAR Z by MAX BROOKS best zombie book ever it's awesomly amazing.

  • @garrarush Yes, That is probably exactly what he is saying. The government WOULDN'T ask questions. It's their job to do what's necessary to keep the majority of the population safe and protected. You think you and I matter? Bullshit, they would kill us on the spot if something like this happened and we looked infected or showed signs medically of infection at a checkpoint. The government doesn't care about the individual, only the majority.

Get used to it. Individual lives mean NOTHING to them.

  • @MissPandaRox I'm pretty sure I sound like a hippy right now, but I'm just pissed that some idiots online take a movie as real life. In almost EVERY zombie movie, the government fcked up badly somehow.

  • why do most of these brits look so malnourished? Did the actors lose a bunch of weight for the movie?

  • @ferdmert I think your right as they are meant to be living off chocolate and what snacks the ships have left.

  • I think Army would have take care of the infection but in this case they are in quarantine that's why there's no tank or army soldiers. And at the end the infected dies because of theyr sickness I think its pretty much realist the way it happens. It's still a movie with stereotypes but it's a very good movie, i guess it's the best movie in the ''zombies post-apocalypse'' category.

  • In reality the SAS would have eliminated all of the zombies lol. Is it just me or would it be cool if this did happen? lol Shooting zombies hell yeah :P

  • I doubt it, the SAS is a very small force, England alone has a population of nearly 61 million, looking at how quickly and easily the infection passes through the population. There wouldn't be enough time to fight it.

Plus the SAS would be assigned to defend The Royal Family or Politicians.

  • It was a joke mate, I wasn't seriously suggesting that the SAS could kill over 60 million zombies lol. Why the thumbs down people, wow some people really have a dick up their arse. Anyway, yeah it was a joke but the SAS are beyond words. The best in the world.

  • @DaveandNic4eva wutta bout terrorists? just say the infected are against their god and need to be cleansed and they alalalalalallalalal!! BOOM! no more zombies lol

  • LMAO! True man, true!

  • @DaveandNic4eva yes but the most British people talk trash about other countries armies because they have the SAS of 1,000 operatives that have "the hardest training in the world" regarded by who knows who. most people know it is a totally undeserved ego. So, why should you be any different from the rest...

  • @Krylon 100 No we simply state that the British Armed Forces are the best on the planet. Which they are! Yes, we may not have as much technology as say the US, but our soldiers, naval and air crew are much highly trained. The US Marines (who think they are the best soldiers in the world) train for 16 weeks roughly, just regular British soldiers train for the same! The Royal Marines train for 29 weeks. Britain hasn't been invaded for 1000years, we have lost only a handful of wars out of hundreds

  • @DaveandNic4eva trainings great... but nothing beats real experience which our soldiers have more of. Our country (48 continuous States) has not been attacked since 1812 in the whole 234 years it has been around. not to forget we beat the british with french and spanish help in the revolutionary war. im not saying you guys suck or anything though your a close second but since we are allies i guess that makes you first as well we are both the best.

  • @Crylon100 Your soldiers have more experience, are you living in dreamland!? The British Armed Forces have been around 3, 4 times as long as yours! Experience and training are the two things your Armed Forces don't have in volume! You have technology...that is your best suite. Britain hasn't been invaded in 1000 years, not even the Nazis could succeed. If you want to base who's Armed Forces are best on tech, then yeah the US is better. But mate, experience and training is all Great Britain.

  • @DaveandNic4eva im talking about current soldiers not how old your army is... but i guess thats why were allies. we do have land warrior or whatever its called though. and just because our regular army's training is garbage doesnt mean everything else is.

  • @Crylon100 yeah but you tend to friendly fire alot.

  • @Alotak thats the point of landwarrior it has minimized friendly fire

  • @DaveandNic4eva I hate to start up an old argument, but I'd like to point out that the only reason the Nazis didn't take over all of Europe was because the United States stepped in and reinforced the western front. It didn't help that Hitler lost a good part of his army in the winter in Russia. The point is that the Brits were barely holding the line when America came to the rescue.

  • @fashigidow thank you finally someone who knows what they are talking about

  • @fashigidow

WRONG im an american an all but if the germans never attacked Russia then they whould have been set.

  • @fashigidow the Americans stepped in only when they knew they could definately win. Cowards.

  • @DaveandNic4eva Actually, the armies in "zombie apocolypse/infection" movies are pretty stupid. They can't aim, shoot, or even use logical thinking. If there was an "infection" in the world, we would take care of it pretty fast, one example is...RABIES and we solved that problem in just a few years.

  • @garrarush and if a country is getting totaly infected and actually goes into lockdown we just nuke it or h bomb it (theres a diference)

  • @drumskater337 unless it was an island country like the UK, we would just quarantine it. and if it was russia or china or even the US it would be hard to nuke every town without turning our planet to mush

  • @Crylon100 well if you dont nuke it then napalm it or firebomb it. watever you wanna call it, just bomb it like in the second one but make sure that it is quarantined first then level the place so everything is ash. desperate measures.

  • @drumskater337 haha gigantic crematorium

  • rabies takes mouths to fully show sighs infections of this rage virus takes a few seconds making way to fast to stop

  • @DaveandNic4eva mr. everyone thinks that a zombie apocalypse would rule

  • anybody know that song that was playingwhen Jim was in his house and it looked like he was in an old home movie. he was drinking orange juice

  • I believe it's on the soundtrack. It's one of the songs.

  • he was too calm at the start of the movie, anybody would freak the fuk out in that situation and that 1 part when he was in the church after he said hello and them things jumped up with those deep red eyes i wonder what kind of adrenilin rush you would get from that, i know not one of instinct , heart would probably beat so fast you couldnt breathe, winded, mentally distorted, if u get away and beat a heart attack..chemical imbalance, bodily functions would be out of wack

  • i may be wrong but i assume he was calm from being sedated... i'm saying since he left the hospital... meds were prolly just wearing off ...

  • I dunno man...I've known a lot of UKers thanks to the wonders of the internet and most UKers to me seem like they are so laid back they are barely awake or even alive lmao. So combine that with Jim just having woke up from a coma and probably still high on painkiller drugs from the hospital among other drugs and I'd say the character's reactions were utterly believable. The only time in the movie he seems to freak out is when him and Selena are running up the stairs trying to escape.

  • @beingmyself000 i agree but i heard that shocks is good for you

and doesnt cause a heart attack anyway thats what i heard

  • so were are the army with there tanks???

  • @laservader1 The Army in this scenario are scarce because a great many of troops are deployed overseas. The point is they had very little defence aside from the basics and this is not near a military base per se and all tanks would have been commissioned to other areas. It's like having one birthday cake and trying to divide between 50,000 unexpected guests, my friend ;)

  • Evac.

  • this music is just stunning :)

  • smooth style , i'm luv it. there are too many horror or fast soundtracks, haha.

  • i felt bad for the father :( this movie is great!!!

  • I love everything about this movie. Except the fact, that the opening title, and cover is just red. I think they could of made the title cover much more better.

  • I love this movie !!!! :D :D :D :D

  • The first was kick ass. The second wasn't nearly as good as it should have been..

  • i liked more 2 in the end, cuz 1 in the end the guy becomes terminator killing soldiers just like that theres no realism

  • hahaha i wanted him to die but he never dies.

  • That is realism. When your adriniline starts to pump up, you can do that. He wasn't even like the terminator. He was like the preditor sneaking around, using tactics. Anybody can do it, avoid infected, and avoid being seen. That is very realistic, an 8 year old can do that. So it is very realistic, more than you think.

  • not that much, if the main character dies, all goes to hell and everybody will say oh come on men is ridiculous, so to make more action-intense the movie they do that. HOLLYWOOD, so... the movie was ok but that was too much they should made something more human

  • Have you heard the story of behind enemy lines? Based on a true story. A pilot crashed his plane, and had to escape. If a 12 year old's mom wasbeing pinned by a car. He could pull the car off for a few seconds because of his rush. The human body is capable of allot under adrenaline rushes.

  • yes, and muscle use the 100% of their potential, it can be only be safe for a short time, then your body goes to ruin. and the pilot have militar reining this wasjust a normal guy even with adrenaline stuff he wouldnt do much

  • Yeah he would do much. There was a teacher at my old school, her house set on fire. She had to stack furniture up to block the fire. Big, huge couches, all stacked up. The human body under intense stress, and pressure would make you stronger for as long as you have a rush for. So it is very possible for someone like this man to do something. He did not hesitate because he had nothing to lose. Dead parents, infected country, all he did was sneak.

  • you cant deny that it was hollywood stuff anyway

  • Depends. Was it created by hollywood? Yeah.

Can some one become like the main character? Yeah.

  • but still hollywood shit out there

  • @Laproductionsvideos when your ADRENALINE starts pumping....

  • This movie owned.

  • u'kno, when u watch teh movie, you hear the soundtrack wery rarely...

  • Very beautiful piece. You can float away into the clouds with this....

  • I really thought this was Brian Eno's bit of work. Maybe I'm thinking of An Ending (Ascent) which I know I spelled wrong.

By the way 0:41 that's a pretty good picture. The movie's too dark to see that much detail usually. It's my favorite part of the entire movie too. The howling the infected make when they're on fire... priceless.

  • Yeah, I was thinking what a laugh it would be if that same jetplane at the end would have dropped a nuke or something in downtown London after flying over the cottage. They'd be waving at their own executioners. Sort of an alternate ending.

  • god, shut up
