But since I know your Youtube-account, you gave me the possebility to get an authentic overview over the way of practice Asatru, the religion of our ancestors, out of Europe. Although I don't know you, I want to thank you. Especially the Videos "Shieldwall against Hate" and "Yuletide Ritual" were absolutely fabulous. I hope, you can work further on.

Wassail! Thanks for the kind words from Germany. I am not involved in the AFA, I should point out, but rather founded both of Canada's only hone-grown Heathen organizastions, the Heathen Freehold in 2002 and the Fridhgard Fellowship in 2009.

Suffice it to say that it was my introduction to the ruthless world of politics. People will lie their faces off when it gives them am advantage. It is shameful.

Seems a shame, yet they were so much more informative than 99.9999999% of the Heathen videos out there which just consist of speed metal music and pictures of Vikings bashing everything in sight, which presents a very one-sided view of Heathenry.

Well Dan, good that things are moving in a positive direction. In truth, I feel I must apologize, as I feel I removed my support from you in a time it was needed, as a deleted my posts on your video addressing the freehold after hearing the remarks of Mairner. In a way, I still stand by this decisions, though, as I though it would be best to not involve my opinions in an issue I was not directly a part of.

It seems though, that the phrase "Beserkers are really cool....over there" stands true.

I never did see that. I'd love to see it, as they never, as usual, sent it to me directly.

They obviously have no knowledge of either ancient Germanic tribal law, nor modern Canadian law and are simply playing some kind of quiet propaganda war for their own aggrandizement. Nothing else explains their disregard for the law...

Indeed, that was the one. One of the funny things about it, they never spoke on the video-it was just red text. Gave a sense of a lack of credibility and/or authority because of it, in my own eyes.

I am not sure what to think of this, I am not accustomed to pagan drama on this side of the pond, it saddens me that this have happened; in the places if any where I have hope that the spirits of my ancestors will linger, when or if it is forgotten (or suppressed by force) in these lands.

I have read alot on this subject to date and it all seems a little surreal, I do admit laughing my ass of when seeing the whole "oathbreaker" ban. Cursing someone(you) feels so terribly childish and petty.

I did start that Freehold.

Anyway, we founded another organization when it was clear the Freehold directors were ignoring their own bylaws, etc. etc.
