Im actually a licensed cosmetologist in the states. so everyone is aware, we call it both TEASING and BACK COMBING. as for bobby pins, it makes all the sense in the world to call them hair grips, because they GRIP your hair. @lmoore0989 you go to any other country, they will have a million different ways to call different things. AND @cukey321, a braid is not only on top of your head. A BRAID IS A BRAID on top of our head or not!! a 'french' braid is what we say when its on top of your head.
