@ShroomFactory It's called a jaw harp or a Jew's harp-- it's a small metal frame attached to a rubber band that's placed in the mouth. Change the shape of the mouth, change the tone of the rubber band.
@VegaVelecka He says "Im goin ride in the car pool lane"..lol:)
So basically hes goin use the heads & put it in the passenger seat next to him so that he can drive on the Highway in LA and use the head as a dummy next to him..lol
@VegaVelecka No dude hes not pranking anyone by putting the heads next to him. He just needs to put the heads next to him in the car probably on a dummys body so that he can drive on the car pool lane in LA..lol.If he drove by himself on the car pool lane the cop would give him a ticket. He doesnt want to drive on the regular lanes because of the bad traffic on the highways..lol..so its not a prank but a smart idea:)
This is one of my favorite episodes. The cinematography is genius. Especially at 2:15 through 3:03. This show is like watching a short film every episode. Keep the art pedal to the metal.
Usually the only thing you can find to eat in the California desert is a burger in a quick stop. It's a not a place to go and eat. And the people are seriously nasty redneck borderline-Klansmen. Usually the only radio you can pick up is dumb shit Christian radio and conservative talk shows. Which brings to mind a question: How do conservative doofuses like Sean Hannity get away with saying the "mainstream" media are "liberal"?
@bapyou Strange... As someone who lived 12 years in the Palm Springs region, the only cliches I see are the ones you wrote. I don't know how much time you spent there, but you sure didn't see what I was seeing. But the desert vibe is a hard thing to grasp, mainly because of the borderline-Klansmen rednecks. They're far from being the majority, though. Something out of subject : you got an awesome channel.
@Ifonas 500 characters does not lend itself to an adequate exposition. The cliches I saw in this video are the musicians and their attitude. And I wouldn't expect a television program to focus on the nastier side of white desert culture.
And Palm Springs is hardly representative of California desert communities as a whole. It's sort of a gay encalve, for one, and its full of abominably wealthy individuals. There are some good Mexican restaurants in Imperial County however.
@bapyou Saying that I lived there does not mean that I stayed only in Palm Springs. My job required me to go around the desert a lot. My point is that you declare that this video is full of cliches, supporting that by more cliches, as if because it is the southern US, it automatically is a white supremacist-conservative-ignorant hellhole. These are just partial truths and prejudices. But you're right, 500 characters are not enough, and the web is not a place for proper debates.
kumquatsta, I love you. You just made my day AGAIN! I'm not that big of a fan of QOTSA, although I do appreciate their unique sound.. I saw them once at Coachella back in I think 2005 and they fucking blew me away.
This one I don't get. I mean besides the food, it's all this crazy Mel Gibson Mad Max thing which mostly "white people" are into.. maybe a few Native Americans there as well, but mostly "white people". I guess WTF else can you do in the desert, right?
