  • Don't know how he does it, but I do have a little theory. He has a fake bit of paper that is already snipped in pieces in his left hand. I suppose it's attached to the chair, hence the chair being backwards and the weird arm position at about 1:05. He's got it palmed in the left hand. You can see it from 1:16 until 1:25. It's got a bit of light blue colour thanks to the lighting.

Has got to be a wonderful effect live, though.

  • You can buy this crap on his website. Basically a fan disguised as a speaker, microphone, or whatever... It's loaded with "snow" confetti. I think you can buy the paper he uses for the glass of water off of his website too.

  • OK, losers I have mutiple awards in magic so pay attention. I saw Kevin James perform this live at Kutstown convention, He is amazing at what he dose I spoke with him and he says their are 10 different ways to do this but the way I have is no special paper its a magical secret so shut your mouths and keep it a secret.

  • HAhahaha its such a joke that you think thats how it's done. Please grow up.

  • special kind of paper............lol

  • @zigzag47591 Nope lol

  • @BradleyThomsonMagic That was a joke, Im a magician and I own the snow animator, lol

  • @BradleyThomsonMagic I would never tell anybody how it is actually done, to good of a trick to ruin it :).

  • What is this music?

  • @lemartini1050 It's the main theme from Edward Scissorhands.

  • @ 1:29 takes the particals out of shirt with left hand, the misdirection is in the left where he is squeezing the water.

  • no that was him trowing the straw away watch again

  • iv got one and its bloody marvoulus

  • i saw this last night i loved it !

  • i went on a cruise and there was a magican and he did a trick just

    its great lol

  • what was his name i saw a nagican on a cruise too that this too the exact same way

  • great job

  • Oh and by the way the music is from Tim Burton's Edward scissorhands.

  • Actually that is not how it is done in this act. The magician is Kevin James and he has invented the snow storm animator one two and three(although I think that there is a fourth version but I am not sure). The gimmick for the snow animators is very amazing and hi-tech but they are so expensive.

    escalade4

  • What music (Sound) did you use this video?

  • yah its a special kind of paper

  • cool...thanks.

  • ok here is how to do it..... gosh I am a magician and I have this stuff so heres how... the paper is special.... search snowstorm in any magic shop or ask them about snow paper... the paper expands in water and then breakes apart into tiny strips ets.... just search it on google

  • thanks for that.

  • @benjaminpott How did he shoot the paper strips up?

  • @votrienan97 fan just off the stage

  • @benjaminpott

we magicians do not reveal our illusions

and that is not even how it was done?

  • @benjaminpott not only could you not be a magician, because we never tell how something is done, but also...uhhh your wrong. I will post my video from the show i'm doing tomorrow and link it hear, but PLEASE paper that expands and breaks apart LOMBO...dude you have never done this....

  • @benjaminpott wrong lol! your thinking of snow/slush powder i wont reveal this beautiful effect but you must be an amateur if you think ur theory is correct

  • i saw a different guy do that live, it was way better.

  • cool ...was that guy the main act? this guy was just like an opening act.

  • you know the guy performing is the actual inventor of the effect?

    hahahahaha

but if you mean by another guy david copperfield (which he does do the trick) then i totally agree

  • i think he is Kevin James, a famous magician with his Floating Rose and SnowFlake trick (this video)

  • thanks ... that name sounds kind of familiar now..

  • Now i dont know if you are the person in the video or not but can u tell me who it is. I am planning to do a very similar trick but i have diffuculty with the main production ( showing hands clean). If you could tell me how to run it that would be very kind.

  • sorry i don't know who it was ... i was just at the fair and decided to watch the magic show - i only know the main act was juliana chen ... but it was taken at a show at the PNE in Vancouver if that helps you with an internet search ... he opened for juliana

  • This guy and Nathan Burton said and did almost the same thing. Any relation?

    That trick is crazy!

  • there were a few magicians that night, this guy was one of the most entertaining.

  • do you know how the trick is done? i know some magicians use a little device that blows confetti in the air, but this magician rolled up his sleeves so i dont think he hid it there.

  • i'm no magician so this stuff is over my head ... i did notice he rolled up his sleeves too ... the lights were dim though, as you can see and it dimmed a bit more around the time of the "confetti" so that was the opportunity for him to do his trick for sure.

  • ahh yeah you're right. but it's weird how one second he had tissue with water in it, and the next second, he had like a ball of something in his hand. very confusing to find out how the trick works only by looking at a trick.

  • actually now that i look at it again, he already had some small flurries happening b4 it got dimmed a bit more .... yeah hard to tell how he did it.

  • Nice.

  • thanks... glad u liked it.
