Marth isnt really cheap, he's more of a dodge and counter kind of guy,

ike kind of takes skill to master if you want to hit with most of his slow ass attacks

marth's FS is just cheap...but if you use his FS make sure its not in mid-air because it it misses...you will go to either extreme sides and die an embrassing death! this happened to the CPU using marth...twice! I just burst out laughing!

eh, i know i'm gonna get negative comment for this but you have to admit marth is like the cheapest character in brawl, i thought he was cooler in melee, it took skill to do side b (dancing blade) beside the fact his final smash is a 1-hit instant kill, thats why I use captain falcon, his final smash isn't cheap, and he is just a very balanced guy, he could FALCON PAWNCH marth all day!!!

Captain Falcon's final smash is a one hit kill too. Marth isn't really "The cheapest" Ike is. Plus Marth's attacks are weak for the most part so his speed and combos are well but together. I like both Captain Falcon and Marth but Marth is far from the cheapest character. Not to be mean but you sound like a Captain Falcon fanboy.

Captain Falcon's final smash isn't always an instant kill. Mostly yes, not always. Depending on the character and dmg % you can survive it. I main as marth and i think sometimes he is a little OP, but ike is far from the cheapest moves. It's hard to land his smash moves one on one.

I think roy is better than marth because marth is a tremendous cheap character, also ike sometimes get confunded with marth in far picks. Roy must be in brawl instead of marth (regardless of fire emblem history games)

You are wrong, althought roy and marth moveset is the same. Their attacks has very different effects. For example marth is a lot faster and nimbler that roy, also he is stronger with his dancing blade and his dolphin slash. You have to be very talented for play as roy, but marth (i use marth all the time, that's why i said) is very easy to handle, well i think that in brawl is a little more difficult to handle than in melee, ike is a bit cheap but marth is much more.

Yes, it seems like just a slash. You don't get the point though. Critical hit is literally a critical hit in the first FE. All fire emblem chars had one. And Marth has the hardest hitting FS in the game. Range is great (although a bit suicidal) but the power is just MWah! Perfect! Marth has the best 1v1 FS in the game ever.

they deleted roy because roy isn't in any fire emblem game exept for one and it was released a few years ago. Since Marth has been in more than one fire emblem game and is reapearing in the upcoming fireemblem ds game he is included. But Roy was cool and they could have taken out Falco or wolf since them and fox have pretty much the same movesets.

Actually, the reason why Marth is in the game is because he was the ranger/lord in the first Fire Emblem(and number three). Ike was the latest, like how Roy was before Melee.

1. His throws own for combos ( down throw to forward smash, or jump and hit them with your forward air)

2. His combos are ridiculously good

3. He can counter attacks

4. If you hold B when your trying to recover, you will slider further horizontally

5. If you use his Dancing Blade correctly, the opponent can't get out of it

And 6, if you sweetspot your Forward smash, it can kill HEAVY weight characters at about 65%.

Marth attacks with special moves that enhance his offensive and defensive capabilities. Like when u hit them with the blade up close it doesnt do much...but when u hit them with the point of the sword it does alot more

Marth can do a lot of damage, you just need to take advantage of his sweet spot. Where is that you ask? Why, the tip of his blade. Down+A makes good use of it.

The reason why they put in Marth instead of Roy was three. 1. He was underated so they put him in. 2. Ike came in and he's WAY better than Roy 3. Roy had his glory in Melee.

From what I've heard, Roy's data IS INDEED on the melee disc. But, since it kept being pushed, his data remained incomplete and Roy didn't show up in the game. :/ Sucks, huh?

marth's FS is AMAZAZING it can even hit multiple opponents. There's vids of him getting a triple kill with it. And yeah, it'a a guaranteed kill, unless some bad luck happens with walls (melee's temple stage). It's meant to OHKO, and it doesn't even raise they're percent at all. Link's is up there too. Can't be dodged, can't be survived. GW's ocotpus is the super wall of pain, and Ike's underwhelmed me. He can probably kill with his smash or b before that'll finish someone =/

I would expect Roy's Final Smash to have been a much greater version of his neutral special attack. Except that the explosion encompasses the entire screen, KOing anyone next to him, and dealing from high damage to minor damage depending on how far you are from him. Then it would take several seconds before the smoke totally cleared.
