If you want to use sea salt on your face ladies.. switch the baby wash to WATER and mix until its disolved and dab it on your face :)

  • love u and love your idea i try it and it was amazing

  • you cant use this on ur face can you?

  • @loveallhellokitty I think it would be too harsh for your face :-)

  • @lovekisses99 ok thanks!:)

  • what about epson salt?

  • @IndigoBlueSole i've never tried it with epsom salt. i think it may be a tiny bit too coarse.

  • Keep the recipes for beauty coming. Is that why you have a natural glow?

  • i love sea salt for exfoliating my skin...thanx for the great beauty tip!!

  • You can also get that sea salt from Dollar Tree for $1.

  • thanks Love.

  • Thank you so so much for this! I absolutely love using it and it saves me so much money!

  • Your hair is too cute!

  • Thank you for this video. I bought some carol's daughter scrub and it was $40. I could have just made this and maybe added some essential oils for around $10! I love your videos keep up the good work!

  • I am trying this out tomorrow ..

    thanks sooo much ...smooches..

    girl you are sooo helpful...

  • Thanks for the info. I will try this soon.

FYI - I have found an economical Sea Salt Scrub at Trader Joe's. The 'Purify' grapefruit/chamomile sea salt scrub is nicely scented. Only $6.95 for a 22 oz tub.

A little more than your solution - but MUCH cheaper than the ones in the mall.

  • girl your the best! i'm going to try it out :)

  • Thanks so much. I have bought a lot of the scrubs and they are too harsh for my skin. So that is wasted money. Your way looks great. I will look to see if I can do the baking soda update you have as well.

  • This was so good. And as you said, it is great knowing exactly what is in it.

  • I just wanted to share with you that I went to the mall last weekend and was stopped by a salespersons who wanted to share her sea salt exfoliator with me. I immediately thought of you and told her that I had sea salt in my home. She said the it was a different sea salt. Well, she proceeded to wash my hands and after all of that, she charged me $60 for the mixture and a lotion. Go figure. I am so glad that you decided to share this vital information to us. GOD BLESS

  • Great vid, tried it, loved it, keeping it

    Thanks gurl

  • this was helpful, i love making things at home. i like "crafts" haha.

    thanks!

  • can it be used on the face and private areas

  • ohhhhhh nooooo!!! lol

I wouldn't use this on the "sensitive area".

I think it would be a little too abrasive for the face too

  • you can use baking soda on your face just mix with your daily cleanser, its a great exfoliant.

  • @eyvond1 oh gosh no, lol what she said. espically after shaving, NEVER do that haha

  • i like this thank you, i used to purchase carol daughters but it start to get too expensive

  • thank you so much!

  • love ur hair and thanks for the tip hun!!

  • Thanks lovekisses Iam going to try this and let you know how it worked. O and Missprettytexas, I think she covers the labels because she doesnt want to give away free advertisments they gotta pay her first girl :) with the exception of Glad Lol.

  • Good video I will try this today! Why do you cover the labels?

  • i probably don't have to do that..lol

Someone once told me showing labels is kind of like endorsing a product..i'm starting to think it's not true lol

  • Love your hair, thanks for the tips :)

  • thank you so much!!!

  • I am soooooooooooooo glad I found your channel. You are really helping this stay-at-home mom save money. GOD bless everything you touch!

  • thank you :) we have to try to put a few pennies to the side when we can :)

  • love it , I love body scrubs , you feel so clean when you do it!

  • all squeaky clean right! lol

  • Lovekisses, do you prefer salt or sugar and why ?

  • Sugar scrub or salt scrub will both leave your skin exfoliated, smooth and soft.

Using either one depends on the condition of your skin initially. Also, I wouldn't use a salt scrub after shaving..ouch :( Some people use oil with the sugar/salt scrub..which can make the floor of your tub or shower VERY slippery..

As with any beauty product, I would do a skin test..just as I would with a store purchased product..hope this helps.. :)

  • You know, i watched another YT'ber and she used baby oil as her mix, it never dawned on me how slippery it could be.

I think i will try your method.

  • yes lovely..it can be very slippery...lol lol

I learned by experience..i slipped and pulled the shower curtain down and everything..lol lol

It was my own episode of "Most Embarassing Moments" for sure!!!

  • i love the scrub !!!!

  • me too moe..:)

  • way to be a recessionsita lol.

what is on your lips? its so pretty!

  • hey girl..thanks :)

I'm wearing Party Line Lipstick from MAC

    :)

  • You must have read my mind, becaue i've been searching the web trying to find out how to make my own body scrubs.Tell me how to add some fragrance to it also.

  • look up " CARRIER OILS" on the net, many fragrance available, u can try coastal scents for begginers, but they arent the best there are many many companies that carry lavendar-rose-gardenia-orange-lemon whatever floats your boat

    hth
