@VenusDoom3 In my opinion, the "master" represents a master of a trade, in this case a teacher, and the "fever" is the master's passion, what drives him to live, what he shares with the world.

He says "my heart is only on fire, when you are the teacher." The master and the fever passionately learn from each other, through teaching and being taught. And through this relationship, both parties are satisfied and in some way, complete. They complete each other; they can't exist without each other.

@LimeTechno I agee w/ your comments about his talent, but the originality is another issue, in my suspicion. According to the info that i read on the Villagers website, his name is Conor O'Brien. Well, in my opinion he sounds a little like Conor Oberst's(Bright Eyes) earlier stuff: Bowl of Oranges, At The Bottom of Everything, to name the ones that come to mind right away. Check those 2 videos out on You Tube.

@yowzanow1 Bright eyes earlier stuff was much more tamed and quite "staged" in some senses. I think that the villagers leave room for interpretation and when he does his live versions, you feel like you can relate to him, like he means it. When I listen to bright eyes, i feel like they're doing what is expected

i'm a huge bright eyes fan and i don't see the comparison, yes they look the same and their name is a couple letters away from being the same, but musically there are differences. people saying they sound the same either haven't heard much indie-folk. if you want to go troll someone for ripping off bight eyes go look up a band called "An Angle" they're the real criminals.
