I lived in Lima for a year and got to know an American guy who owned a bar, but was cabin crew with an airline. He smuggled a kilo here and there to build some capital and did it one more time before leaving his job .... and got caught. He got 10 years. He was 29 and has lost everything. Awful situation, but what can you say? As far as Nigerians are concerned I wouldn't trust any of them. I hope they release the older chap in this on compassionate grounds. Poor old bugger

The man's government should pay for the release of their citizen. He is five months past his release date and is bascically being held hostage for ransom. His country's embassy should provide a lawyer and the government should give him a relief loan and require that he pay them back when he gets back home.I think that a few months and not a few years in a Peruvian prison would deter ANYONE from ever returning to Peru to commit a crime EVER AGAIN! I lived in Lima for a year and got to know an American guy who owned a bar, but was cabin crew with an airline. He smuggled a kilo here and there to build some capital and did it one more time before leaving his job .... and got caught. He got 10 years. He was 29 and has lost everything. Awful situation, but what can you say? As far as Nigerians are concerned I wouldn't trust any of them. I hope they release the older chap in this on compassionate grounds. Poor old bugger

Afrikanliberty I don't understand you're point. The world is a reflection of what Europe did, just about every country in Africa was created by Europeans the whole global system was so was most technology and basically all science. The only others who contribute are thew Chinese and Japanese. Euorpeans did everything.
