It's a good lookin spaceship when it goes up, but when it comes down looks a mess and needs a new paint job and some serious buffing to make it shiney again, nothing that space shuttle paint stripper at Autozone can't fix. Yeah hoisting something that large like that in air is weird. High fuel cost.

Looks like those clamps on the hoist damaged the shuttles outter hull a bit or buckled it inward along the cockpit. Like putting a nail into an old board and it cracks the board.

The space shuttle is awesome, it will be a sad day to see it replaced.
