Mark & Melanie Mitchum are two of the most fabulous people I have had the honor to meet.Their signing skills are always impeccable; that is why I "rip off" their signs, f.e., and anything else I can get!!! I've told Mark that I do that a lot and he says that is fine with him. You can't improve on perfection!!! Walk, swim, skate, whatever you have to do to attend one of their concerts or workshops. You will be glad that you did...I promise.

I have seen Mark Mitchum in Concert. He has been blessed with this ability to reach people through music and sign. He is absolutely awesome to watch. I have signed to songs in church over the years, but as a hearing person, I continue to struggle with signing concepts. This was great to run across Mark here.

This DVD is beutafully done, the songs are all good but the best part was when Mark ministered to the Deafs. I like how he said it's not important what Mark Mitchum says it's important what God says

If this is actually Mark Mitchum replying to me I want you to know that that DVD, especially "My Name Is Lazarus" really blessed me as well as helped me improved my signing for songs. I really like to see you do "Open the eyes of my heart"

The DVD is worth watching even though on some of the songs its not a literal translation. on "You Raise Me Up" when they're singing "You raise me up , to walk on stormy seas" He's signing "you encourage me & give me patients not to quit"

Right, because we are not signing word-for-word, we are signing the concept. That is how it is done in ASL. "walking on stormy seas" is not signed literally unless you are truly walking on a stormy sea.

He is interpreting what it means, not a literal translation, but Deaf people to understand the concept..

joeboy...Have you ever been in a concert, service or in Mark's home and watched the anointing of the Lord come down on him? I give the credit to the Lord, as Mark and Melanie both would. He is an example of what God can do to a man who is willing to let his own goals and let GOD!

I have been in his predsence and it was nothing but an honour and a sheer joy. Why don't you put the effort forth to do so? It will bless your life!

I guess joeboy doesn't understand what a "sample" is. Mark is truly blassed by God. Music can be so difficult to sign and Mark makes it look so easy! The sample of "You raise me up" is just so powerful! I was touched and I look forward to seeing the entire song. WOW!
