Hey what kind of router do you have because I want to get a router but when I find a good one it doesn't work with what I want it to, and when I find one thats compatable with everything everyone says it sucks so I need advice.
it depends what you want... i have cable.. depending on what tpye of inernet is what type of router you need. :) eg.. cable = a dsl router.. and bt/wanadoo etc need ADSL routers etc.. :) whats your isp?
well I gots comcast which is a cable. Speed is 100Mbps.I want a wireless N that will work with older wireless frequencyies such as wireles a,b, and G because I have a Wii and DS.
Well I got a Linksys wireless-G router and the network setup program it has is only for windows, but it can still be used on A mac so can you make a tutorial showing how to setup a network on with a wireless router on the Mac?
hi thankx for the help i can see you have connected you wii console to your mac mini do you no any cable or any vga cable that could connect to my imac with a usb to my xbox 360 so that i can use my xbox 360 on my imac sreen please help
sorry.. i dont actually have my mac and wii conected. only to the screen.. the screen is actually a TV that supports VGA input.. hence the mac on tv.. :) .. only hakcing will allow you to use imac as a TV.. OR. USB video input card for your mac will allow you to use it as a TV. and u can record too.. :)i dont know what quality is like tho.
hay dragonpme i have virgin media broadband . i would like to no because i am connected to my cable modem from virgin media to my pc. when i get a mac do i have to release the ip and renew it for the internet to work on the mac. i also have a wireless router to. please help dragonpme. and can you tell me how to change my ip address aswell please help i am so despreat 4 your help thankx
.. im also on virgin media.. best brittish conection for mac if im honest.. :) dont worry about the ip addresses.. plug in the ethernet fomr the tv box/modem depends what ur on, and away your internet will go.. ur ip shouldnt change... wireless is also easy.. please dont worry.. its easy.. :) no configerating nessisary usualy. any other questions.. u know where i am!
