Just watched the "Kill the King" vid from 1977 posted by ECIommi (look on the list to the right), and then watched this vid....................31 EFFIN' YEARS BETWEEN the performances and Dio was STILL kicking ass !!!!!!!!!! I saw him with Elf in '73 opening for Purple and he was great then !!!! Sorely missed-------one of, if not THE best. Thanks, Ronnie. R.I.P.

dio is like the al capone of metal...the godfather of metal...even with coming old age he can still blow the entire house down. the oldies should make a tour around the world..not just europe or us..but asia too just to place the singers nowadays in their place

He was the best metal voice, no doubt. But he's era is over now, u may hear it at the finish of the song, Dio's voice sounds... tired. He can't linger the notes as he did before. Thought, Ronnie is great, one of few musicians I respect.

Dio is amazing! Best metal voice ever. But why does he have to hire such crap lead guitar players? Trace G, Graig ... oh my ... he played with T. Iommi, Ritchie Balckmore... he deserves a better guitar player!

the thing is that is the same case with singers. Everything is from the old guys, there is no guitarist or singer or band who could be compared with the old ones, so the answer is simple, there are no guitarists....

I mean there are plenty of guitarist, but they are shredders or satriani's sons and most of them dont have that thing that old guys had. Even they dont have a personality, most of of them sound the same
