  • Partly your accent (not your fault, I know) and the audio quality is low; the words all run together. You DO need to enunciate a little clearer. I am interested in malting barley for non-brewing purposes like breakfast cereal and bread making.

  • I wish I could understand more than 1/4 of what you say; I'm sure it would be interesting.

  • @bulruq why cant you understand?

  • i did malting first time in my life. so as i red malting barley will take 9-10 days, but my barley were malted in 4-5 days. first two days i soaked them and other two days were enough for making 15mm roots. is it ok??!!

  • @medameda80 its the shot inside you need to have a look at it should be the length of the grain.. infact some should be just poking out the top (JUST poking out). if it goes that fast it may have been a little hot while malting

  • Best thing I've seen all day.

  • @nerdmom920 thanks :D

  • So does the waste just fall out the bottom?

  • @TheBeebopper yep it sure does. it screens the rootlets while kilning

  • hahaha...okay, I had to play that part over a few times to be sure, but you said you hatch quail eggs too??? hahaha, you are one cool guy! Quail & Brew

  • Dude that was awesome! Cheers for sharing.

  • Puts my little beer kit to shame. Nice work.

  • Outstanding re-engineering. Confident you end with a wee dram to be proud of.

  • that i do, that i do. thanks for the comment
