X15 is the benchmade version of H1 stainless...it is a steel that does not require a true heat treatmant...and it is supposed to hold an edge like nobodies business....the H1 is Spyderco version..and is superior in corossio resistance..but both are amazing steels. I have the same knife in a modified warncliff with the black coating....the T.N on the end of the X15 is titanium nitride...for the coating on the blade..although most of the TN blades are black.

I saw one of these in a hunting store here in Ohio for $80. Wish I had the money to pick it up. It would go good with my two orange CRKTs. Me sadly being a Browns fan I'm obsessed with orange and have found lots of orange knives that I want. Just wish I could afford them all. Hahaha.

very nice, I was considering this knife for heavy use with wet conditions, but then I realized the liners were 410 stainless, not an very corrosive steel, but can still rust, I think they could have goen with Titanium to complete the theme...still an excellent knife none the less...if I go "rust proof" I might just go spyderco pacific salt...
