  • I like the end when that girl was like freaking out about being on camera haha

  • Another quest. Si u only use the glycerin and alcohol for the shimmery one or can use it with the matte ones too plz answer

  • @dimplezcutec yes u can use glycerin!! if ur not sure , u can try it out with alittle bit of the pigment and let it dry, and if u dont like the texture, u can adjust it accordingly..

  • When u apply it using the brush and out it on ur eyes is it creamy it looks really creamy or does it look like that because its still wet

  • Your going to get an eye infection. You should sterilize your spoon and containers with alcohol. also wear gloves!!!

  • HAHAHHAHAHAHAHA...OMG couldnt stop laughing..still am..CANT type LAUGHING SO HARD....PUT IT IN THE TOASTER OVEN AND IT CAUGHT FIRE...LOLOLOLOL..u made my day =)

  • @dddamt2011 lmaoooo im laughing now cuz u got me thinking about it all over again LOL

  • @Chocolatemilk0104 I just subbed to u..u just make me laugh..=)

  • Did you add a base to this at all? Or is it just the mica?

  • @CAPT1V4S it is just the mica.. the base makes the colors less shimmery. i have used the base b4 tho

  • You should clean your desk. Everthing looks so nasty! Ewwwww...

  • @minisamiii OH! since everything looks so nasty, im gona call u next time i make a video so YOU can clean. ;-)

  • so you didn't actually use a cloth and something to press it? I actually like this method and i'm gonna use it for the smaller rectangular pans tkb sells, as i think if i press them i'll lose product cos eyeshadow would be squishing out the pan leaving me with a thin product.

  • lol it caught on fire that made my day lol :) thanks for the vid

  • great videa, thank you. God bless

  • im sorry if you already answered, but is this a creamy shadow youre making? or does it come out like pressed powder? (i dont know the makeup terms...)

  • @caliBornbEauty it comes out like a pressed eyeshadow... u gotta let it sit so the alcohol can evaporate and the glycerin binds in together and it stays ;-)

  • could you mix ur micas in the jar u want to press them in and also can u press them n the plastic containers/empty jars that u get from the arts n crafts stores or tkb instead of the metal ones?can u pls tell me how much glycerine n how much water 2 use?

  • @damitalj Yes you can mix the micas in jar, plastic container.. anything thats stable enough! what ever is more convienient for you! I wanted to makes palettes. I usually jus put one drop of glycerin. if you put too much, the pigment is gone dry too hard and it'll b alittle hard to pick up the shadow wit ur brush. I nevef use water.. i use alcohol! and u have to add enuf to get it to the consistency of wet sand

  • omg! I'm so excited to try this. As soon as I can order some!! I love your videos!

  • @Narlystarr omg omg omg!! ;-) thankyou soo much.. u should do a video when u decide to try it! I WANNA SEEEE LOL

  • did u get th little containerwit achcohol at tkb .. and what gram is it... and how mush did u pay for it

  • @jadacoversonful yes i did get the little container from tkb.. i ordered the beginners kit with all hte pop colors but now they call it "Ez eyeshadow kit".. they gave me 8 jars( 5grams each) and for the whole kit, i paid like 23 dollars (including shipping) its alittle more now

  • do i relly need gylcerine

  • @jadacoversonful @jadacoversonful u dont necessarily need glycerin, but u need a humectant to add moisture to the pigment. if u dont use glycerin or mineral oil, as soon as u touch the pressed pigment (after it dries) its gona break up and turn right back into a loose pigment and make a mess all over the place! i've seen sum ppl using "biosilk"(a hair product)

  • @Chocolatemilk0104 well can i use vetable oil

  • @jadacoversonful i'd try it.. but jus use ONE drop of vegetable oil..im not sure how it would come out.. cuz vegetable oil is a different consistency than mineral oil and glycerin. but try in on one of the pigments and see how it comes out!

  • Greatttt video girl. I did get a lil bit of a headache tho from camra focusing and unfocusing lol but good video :)

  • @KayyLovelyy lol thankyou darling!! im working on that focusing thing lol everytime i look at the video, i end up squinting my eyes lol

  • Well yea but put it in a bag and used the metal thing to put my own shadow in and I made a pallete with a few.

  • I use mineral oil instead of gyclerine. It worked when I depoted wild and crazy eyeshadow trays and put my own pigment in them.

  • @VictoryFire88 so u depotted the wild and crazy eyeshadow and crushed it up, so it was in loose form?

  • can you send me the tkb site cuz i was looking for it but i cant find it :[ thanxx :D

  • It caught on fire because the alcohol ignited it.

  • Do they stay pressed, or do they eventually get flaky? When I tried pressing NYX pigments with glycerin and alcohol, they dried, but a day later, were powdery again.

  • they all stayed pressed for me!! maybe you didnt use enough glycerin. I see alot of people using 2 drops .. i use like 5-6 drops lol this girl named"iheartkayden" used biosilk.. that thing is alittle pricey, jus to press pigments lol but it looks like it works good

  • Ok thanks. The glycerin was probably the issue.

  • When mixing pigment I prefer pressing when the pigment mixture looks like wet sand that you used to make castles out of. It dries quickly and you can create a impression in the top when pressing. I use a quilted pattern when pressing. It looks professional. Forget about Coastal Scents pressing mixture. This glycerine and alcohol mixture is better.
