This martial dont look any better than all the other martial. The techiques, the diciplin and the clothes, all look like traditional Karate. I think its great that the young people learn about Buddhism and fighting skills. Its all good things in our modern day when crime and hate is top of the list.

A martial-culture, is usually a group of people which become able to spend all of their time training. That is likened to the Spartans which worried about the people in revolt, that martial mindset is self-promoting. This technology isn't cost-effective, most people would benefit most from an idiot-proofed martial-art, which would teach mostly how to avoid, self-inflicted injuries.

well i am a blue belt now but i still find it hard to keep my selfworth and joy in the dojo because of some of the egos of the higher ranks and the rigid way of teaching, i do feel i am very focused afterwards and starting to understand chi still i dont no if i can keep standing the submission

The ignorance and narrow mindness of some to pass opinion without research still astounds me. The 'swastika' as it has been referred to is actually known as a 'manji'. The manji represents the foundations of life and balance.

The swastika has no relationship to the manji symbol. So instead of being an example of cultish behaviour advocating anti individualism, the 2000 year old manji symbol represents a means to complete oneself through ones own self discovery.

1. Their leader (now the guy's daughter) is not worshipped.

2. Thought reform is not systematic but rather is developed from a young age over long periods of time.

3. There is no evidence of heavy exploitation from their leader to his followers.
