What island is better to visit, Rhodes or Crete?

They are equally great. Depends on what you're looking for. Rhodes has an entire circumwalled medieval capital and ancient greek sites. Crete has bigger cities, hiking spots and a marvellous pre-greek archeological site called Cnossos. They both have nightlife but Crete naturally has more clubs.

I'm off to Rodos on 19th August for a week, fantastic island and great people. I would highly recommend it for anyone wanting a lovely place to visit. I've been going for 10 years, I will always go back there. Excellent.

Hi Aleksandros14, I am in love with Rhodes and come over 22 years now and stay in Archangelos. The isle is so beautifull and peacefull. In May this year was my last visit, the weather was not that good, but I just enjoyed being there again. Lucky you that you live there. I live in Amsterdam in Holland. It is also a beautifull place to stay and I will never leave here, but I will always come back to Rhodes in spring or fall. Take good care and best wishes from Argo in Holland.

Im from Finland and I have visited Rhodes two times now. :) Always good food, great weather (we go there in the spring, when its not too hot but nice and warm), helpful and trustworthy people and great beaches!

I love Rhodes so much, it's so friendly and safe - no yobs allowed! Lindos is fabulous, we usually stay at the Daniel in Kalathos, just up the road a mile or two. I want to go back RIGHT NOW! :)
