I am 11 and went on the mind bender 10 times the last time I was there. No joke. It is the best ride on earth. Any one who is scared to go on shouldnt be because I was scared but i loved it in the end.

@Jcontardo It does pull heavy G's, but nothing insane. Haha just keep your head back against the headrest when you go around the loops. I had my tilted forward my first time and I blacked out for the first two loops. XD

@Leaxion Believe me this roller coaster is one of the best in the world, the speed, tight turns and intense drops AMAZING. They now do tests on the carts and track everyday at specific times, no need to worry, been accident free since i believe 1986

@meany1023 Dude, that was like 25 years ago and one of the carts was faulty, they sent them back to Germany i think and they were rebuilt and now they do tri daily tests on the entire ride and each cart. I go on this coaster like every day thanks to my free passes, dont dis this roller coaster, its one of the best there is man.

This is one of the best rollercoasters I've ever been on. When you go down the first banked hill, you can't even scream, its just shear shock...and I don't scare easily. Most rollercoasters are mediocre to me.

exactly, you have no idea what even happened. The way the bogey on the last car was affixed to the axle, after multiple times of use, outwore itself, and the last car fishtailed. Going into the third loop, the train had lost too much speed, and it fell back down, and the last car hit a concrete pillar, killing 3 people. That pillar has been removed, and the trains were revamped with all front cars, shoulder harnesses, and it is now rated one of the most safe in the world. Excuse my rambling.

Very sad that people died on it..... but then when you consider how long it's been running for, I'd imagine the odds of a fatal accident are extremely low. You'd almost certainly have a far greater chance of being killed on the journey up there, than on the ride itself. I would love a go, but unfortunately live thousands of miles away!

The train entered the third and final inverted loop, but did not have the speed to complete the loop. The train stalled at the top, then slid backwards, crashing into a concrete pillar. Three people were killed during the accident and a fourth man was severely injured.
