  • @guitarbridgecleaner

It was 30 years ago...he's a bit older and they want to mix it up a bit.

  • @guitarbridgecleaner idk maybe it has something to do with the fact that hes 59 now lol

  • Awesome acoustic performance !!! Was really cool to hear it ripped down to the bare bones.....

  • This is fucking awesome..the 12 dislikes pull your heads out your ass.

  • That just fucking gives me joy........seriously.

  • great it's nice to hear it done differently i will alawys love this song it don't matter how they do it!!! great 1 time and will be always...

  • Awesome! That guitar place really set up a nice event and the guys performed great in this video.

  • WILL FERRELL is the lead singer for Night Ranger?! Didn't expect that...

  • Dude, that Will Ferrell line is f'n funny. I can't even type this cuz I'm laughing so hard!

  • LOL they messed up at 3:46 (they sang different lines but corrected it)

  • Damn, Kelly can still bring it.

  • 1:00 You´re motoring ... .-)

  • Great Song! You guys rock; wish you would come to Bakersfield, CA!

  • @kb1qzy No, Brad Gillis is on the right. Doc Watson the other "original" guitarist is not playing with them.

  • @kb1qzy

  • Brad Gillis on the right is one of the original guitarist ! Doc Watson is not playing with them.

  • Outstanding!!!

  • first class

  • they can still rock in America!!!

  • they can still rock in America!!!

  • From the legendary 80's <3. What a Wonderful song

  • even 90s were good...

  • really nice solo

  • Kinda like a modern The Beatles.

  • superb

  • Wow just freakin awesome. I love the 80's. Man i miss that time in my life......

  • @aurosne ... yea they 80's were awesome.. i hate that i did not get to grow up in that time.... ugh.

  • @aurosne I feel ya man those were the best years of my life man. Boy things suck now.

  • wow

  • wow everyone's grown old exept BRAD!

  • I love this song.

  • piezo quack......

  • More cowbell!

  • Pretty classic tune. Name one popular artist that is still writing hooks like that. You can't. There aren't any. And, god forbid you ask someone to sing it live these days. What? No autotune? No DJ? As much as I hated the eighties, at least there were still musicians back then.

  • @hueseph How does having autotune make you not a musician? Talk Box was used on rocky mountain way.

  • @suihkubad the talk box is a vocal effect. it was not made to keep a singer in tune like autotune. Some artist do use auto une as an effect, but most need it. Rocky Mountain Way...Great song.

  • @machinegunguitar People don't use autotune to correct pitch in singing but to create a vocal effect. Digital correction of pitch has been around for decades.

  • @suihkubad Just as machinegunguitar said. Antares Autotune though used as an effect is more often used as a corrective tool. Yes, it works live. Of course there are also gated backing tracks a la Ashley Simpson, Britney Spears, Jonas Bros............

  • @hueseph John Mayer plays and sings.... no auto tune and acoustic, check him out playing with Clapton, its on youtube

  • @machinegunguitar You got me there. Yeah, I know John Mayer is one of very few pop acts that can really play and sing. He's a class act.

There's also Robert Randolph, Joe Bonamassa, Robert Cray but none of these guys are pop in any way.

  • @hueseph Mayer's mainstream stuff is like latter-day Clapton; a lot of great singing and lyrical soul, which gets him on the radio and (sadly) on the gossip pages. People who haven't seen him live probably don't even know he plays guitar- or that he's been on stage with Clapton, BB King, Buddy Guy and Jimmy Vaughan.

  • now there's 3 will ferrells? :O ahaha

  • That was cool as all get out...

  • damnit soon even our acoustic guitars will be electric

  • @TheRacmm

What is that supposed to mean?

There already are acoustic electrics, and they kick ass!

The acoustic in the video is also acoustic electric!

  • i like how it says unplugged and they're plugged in.

  • @dethklokfan254 unplugged refers to acoustic sets. term from the old 80's MTV show.

  • @machinegunguitar unplugged gets the name from not using amps, which they are. that was his point.

  • The guitar "Will Ferrell's" playing is very nice. :)

  • 5 Stars

  • FUCK YEA ! !

  • ahh man i love this song!

  • @danophile07

    It's not Brad Gillis,

It's Kelly Keagy that looks like Will Ferrell, lol!

  • The vocal harmonies are great!

  • talk about some fantastic singing harmonies

  • i bet theyr fuckin sick of playin this song

  • @rickyjshiznit LMAO

  • @rickyjshiznit it's their "Freebird"!

  • @rickyjshiznit

I doubt it. This song made them a lot of money, and because its still popular... they are still relevant.

They appear to be enjoying themselves on stage.

  • @rickyjshiznit

look at their faces...you cant fake that...they love playing this song.

  • this is supposed to be @kb1qzy***

  • @rickyjshiznit i doubt it. Its not the only hit they had, its just the only one to stand the test ot time

  • @rickyjshiznit Hahahaha soo funny

  • why does brad gillis remind me of will ferrell haha

  • @danophile07 lmao he does look like him

  • Jack Blades and Brad GIllis are awesome guitar players

  • Hmmm......not sure about that one.
