Yeah. I really wanted them to trade him (willing or not) along with Nazzy, Cooke, Morrison, and Miller (plus other pending FAs) to the Red Wings, who I'd felt would win the Cup. Linden winning the Cup would be better than retiring in Vancouver; in a nutshell, you could count it as the Canucks' first ever Stanley Cup win.
