  • hmmmmmmmmmmm was this a performance they had to do due to contract after the loss of their great singer?.sad story, but CHips here aint doing it, looks like he's mentally struggling so i wont make a harsh remark, for these people all deserved much better than they all ended up getting, fukkkkin music biz anyways, ruined thousands of lives.while the "man" gets rich, and race had nothing to do with it, for all did the same thing to the musicians/writers who did the real work and were the talent!

  • I agree, Badfinger was way to good for this kind of Schlock kind of low budget kind of circus show! I look at Toms face, and looks as though he's embarressed.

  • Dislike only because I hate to see how the great Badfinger were used & humiliated during this time for other's monetary gain. May those who did this to Badfinger rot.

  • Great music, pretty girl. Who could ask for anything more.

  • That "host" looks like Jeff Lynne's demented brother. 2:44

  • Love the faces that Mike Gibbins, the drummer keeps making

  • Tommy seemed really upbeat here

  • this is so sad.....

  • Badfinger really wasn't Badfinger without Pete Ham.

  • Pick scrapes in a Badfinger performance? Ugh....

  • the chick is one of Milwakee's finest.. look at the beer belly!! :P:

  • @fperdomo Milwaukee: Birthplace of the "Beer Goggles"!

  • Heyyy, that chick's pretty hot...

  • I hope that host drowns in a pool full of dog piss. What a cunt.

  • This is a brilliant song. Simply put, Paul McCartney was a musical genius in 1969. Somewhere down the road, he lost it. I wish I could go back to 1969 and force him to write song after song right there.

  • @rkodavey McCartney lost it??? Guess you have not seen him lately

  • stunning.....just so unfortunate.

  • the dying days of a great band

  • I wish he could have hung on through the hard times. But I remember back then everything was disco fever and he must have felt crushed by the changes in music. Oh, Lordy. So sad.

  • Not long...1983. It was the Milwaukee experience and particularly low points like this that sunk Evans into an all time low resulting in his eventual sad suicide.

  • @recordhead59 Yes, I heard that they had a tour booked and all that came of it was a few shows and this downer show on a late night horror channel .

  • I think it was a year later.

  • i hate the tragic fate this band recieved. they were so amazing. I am sure they would have rebounded...

  • What's with the chick dancing?

  • @johnny10301968 No apparent reason! She doesn't seem too interested in the music either. Eye candy perhaps? What bothered me was that crazy drunk of a host! It was almost as if he was mocking the band.

  • @johnny10301968 Have you seen Spinal Tap?Watch it then you will know, if you dont already.

  • Mike looks (understandably) MEGA pissed off at 1:39. Looks like he wants to shove the (gross) eye candy up the clowns arse. Pity he didn't do it!

  • what a shame, playing on a late night horror show. that had too suck! they had such great talent .

  • Read the book "Without You" to get the full story here. It is a great clip but sad at certain points when you know what bob & tom were going through at this time with their managment. Bless their hearts.. I love you guys Pete, Tom, Mike & Bob..

  • Is this one of the last televised appearances of Tom Evans? He hung himself this year if I'm not mistaken. Wonder how the dancing girl got in this one, great video.

  • brookesaunders: I believe Tom Evans actually hanged himself in 1983. I think it was on November 17th of that year. I'm not 100% sure though.

  • November 19th

  • I thought he was the other one who hung himself.

Then, who's the two who are still alive ?

  • Joey Molland is the only one alive now but he is not in this video. This is Tommy's Badfinger band.

  • This is a newer version of the band. Three of the Classic line up are gone now with only the guitar player Joey Molland alive still

  • There is only one original member still alive (Joey Molland) but he's not in this video. Tom Evans who is singing here killed himself not long after this and the drummer Mike GIbbons died a few years ago from natural causes.

  • uno de mis grupos favoritos tom y mike los mejores solo falto pete

  • I like Mike's facial expression at 1:37

  • Dare you not to smile during this!

  • I've never seen him play this live. Thanks!
