What's the point of this "discussion" or in other words "a yelling session"? The era of crews is over. It's not like when you had the Ruff Ryders, No Limit, Bad Boy, Cash Money, Death Row or Roc-A-Fella. It's gone so why force a topic on this. The "crews" of today aren't that impactful because everyone works with each other. Where as back then artists kept it in-house and showed unity making it more of a legit force.
2011 Crew of they year is YMCMB. Line up Wayne, Drake and Nicki against Ross, Mills, and Wale. If you remember, DJ Khaled with that "We the best" stuff help form collaborations of both crews and in doing so helped raise the profile of MMG because of how well YMCMB continued to do that year. Wayne was in jail doing well, Drake solidified his stardom and held down the fort, and Nicki's music had everyone from Taylor swift to little white girls off Youtube rapping Superbass on Ellen Degeneres.

nicki and drake are turning into pop artists and have alot of white fans which is why they sell so good. Lil wayne is the only one who really raps now out of ymcmb. Drake sung so much on his album, i thought it was a fuckin Christmas cd. lol. mmg made the best shit. Give credit where its due and admit it. They had the most albums and had the best quality music. Self made was one of the best mixtapes of 2011. It even surpassed the quality of a standard mix tape and was album material.

What's the point of this "discussion" or in other words "a yelling session"? The era of crews is over. It's not like when you had the Ruff Ryders, No Limit, Bad Boy, Cash Money, Death Row or Roc-A-Fella. It's gone so why force a topic on this. The "crews" of today aren't that impactful because everyone works with each other. Where as back then artists kept it in-house and showed unity making it more of a legit force.

2011 Crew of they year is YMCMB. Line up Wayne, Drake and Nicki against Ross, Mills, and Wale. If you remember, DJ Khaled with that "We the best" stuff help form collaborations of both crews and in doing so helped raise the profile of MMG because of how well YMCMB continued to do that year. Wayne was in jail doing well, Drake solidified his stardom and held down the fort, and Nicki's music had everyone from Taylor swift to little white girls off Youtube rapping Superbass on Ellen Degeneres.
