is it me or is Sean a fucking lame character? I mean, we've got enough shotokan fighters as it is. He looks crappy too. I like Gouken in 4, at least he looks and fights significantly different to the others. Ryu and Ken are near-identical but that's fine, they were the originals. Sakura's valid because she's significantly different. Dan's valid cos he's a hilarious joke.
it's repetitive is my point, I'd have thought that was obvious... too many uppercuts/fireballs/spinning kicks characters. Why'd I pick on Sean? One of the newest + boring design. I can see where they were going with most of them, though honestly after Akuma it started taking the piss.
Time spent on characters like Sean is time that wouldve been better spent creating a more unique fighter.
Most of them where even ment to be used outside of the games where they where introduced anyways, so what exactly is the problem? Dan is also a bad character with your logic. Ryu and Ken are almost exactly the same. Sakura's attacks just move her forward+no air tatsu. Sagat can do a high or low projectile, no tatsu, just a knee.
Sean is completely different for the most part. His shoryuken is either 2 hitting (2i or NG) or straight over his head (3s). He has a command low dash, roll, flying over head attack, high stun/damage tatsu, and a ball instead of a hadouken which can stuff jump-ins or help with wake up mind games.
@jamiany thanks for the explanation. I can't say I'd experimented much with Sean, was judging him on face value. I guess he is a worthy character after all.
and I excluded dan from my criticism because he's a nice joke character, what with the whole KOF parody...
the people in Brazil are black. they were sold as slaves in Africa at the same time as the ones sold to America. As a matter of fact, many of them were in the same camps. At first I didn't believe it but my great grand parents met some of the ouw family in Brazil on their 50th anniversary. Pretty Wild! hah?

Even if he is "Broken" the fact that he could parry inbetween his attacks and suppers sure made him more of a challenge. Once you get the hang of an AI they become pretty easy to beat, I'd say this just made that AI much funner to fight!. If possible though it be nice if there was a short cooldown gap between parrys so he cannot chian parry everything in one milisecond. <3 Love the fight though it was pretty interesting much better than a regular AI fight.
ok, he parried WHENEVR he wanted, in the middle of stun animation, in the middle of attack anomation, WHILE HE WAS CHARGING A SUPER??? its not his ai, its just the fact that he's broken or busted =P
@Lethalhawk Hey dude, how did you edit his ai to do that? The only sf3 character I thought that could beat evil ken was Gill. Please tell me how you did it!
Sorry buddy, but in SF3 you can parry anything, you just have to see it coming. The AI is only as smart as the maker (or as smart as the maker wants it to be). If MVC is all combo piece of shit, then it's cheating in itself and deserves an assbeating.
I like when Bison/Vega comes out.
