MPC 1000 - Beat Making Video

Thanks for all the suggestions. I downloaded a pdf and read it , messed around a with the mpc a lil. Now I have the hang of it.

I've recently purchased a mpc 1000, and I'm completely clueless of knowing how to navigate it. I don't know if I have the right hook up to my mixer, because when i try to sample music from a cd, it says at the bottom screen, waiting for input signal. I'm going to buy a turntable soon. I'm also clueless off how to upload sounds from the usb. all I can tell you is that my mpc has upgraded ram and its blue lol...I really need help; much respect.

@mmabeast89 they have pleanty of videos on youtube that will help you navigate through it, also you can google instruction manual for it, hopefully you find something if you research it

@Rezin603 a mpc is a sampler wich works alone the mpd is a midi controller you have to use a software with (reason, FL, cubase etc etc)

Quick question do you have a phono amp to connect your turntable to your MPC 1000?

I used to run a pre amp, then into my computer, so that i could chop the sample in sound forge. I mainly use the MV-8800 now, so I just sample straight into it without the use of a pre amp.
