If you try the sport button you can reach, i did it my self on my avensis 1.8 VVTi CVT. 145HP.

Maybe we talk about different version, what i drove have 130 hp, only 5 speed manual gear. And yeah its a slow loris in my opinon.

Yes they have. This is 2003-2008. In 2008 they've made some lift.

Toyota Avensis D-Cat is a sport car, the back suspension is the same of celica and max speed is 230, checked by GPS

Not even the D-CAT's top speed is over 230. It's one thing what shows the speedometer, and other thing is the real speed (GPS checked). ;)

Anyway, Avensis is not a sport car. I also own one, and just love it.
